Walking paths cutting across fairways is a bad idea. Hole 17 basket is across a walking path Can’t see to the left to see if anyone is coming. Dangerous imo Beautiful course

Rockburn is playing even better now that they cleared up some of the thorny brush around some of the holes. Nice, defined fairways and great variety between holes. Well maintained. Well designed holes with two basket positions and two tees each. Generally a very attractive park. Beginner friendly, but with some tougher holes. Downsides: no bathrooms or water, short tees don’t have tee pads and aren’t clearly marked, hole 13 is generally annoying, tees can be hard to find if you’re not using UDisc. Still, all in all, Rockburn is one of the nicest courses in Maryland.
