8/3/25 - hole 10 has yellow jackets in ground. Center of fairway about 1/3 of way from tee pads towards basket. Overall the course is a bit shabby. Grass was mowed across holes with grass. Brush is thick so you best keep it in the fairway. No indication of holes/fairways being maintained in the woods. Did deal with some seed ticks this round but think we were able to wipe them off. They are tiny, so we never know completely.
@eddierussell18
Awesome fairways through the woods but wow is it overgrown. With a lot of cleaning of the rough this course would be all time
@tylerdisc04
Poke and hope no lines in a lot of the holes. Don’t go off fairway
@calebthebowler
Probably a winter time course. The rough is definitely rough and a lot of tight poke and hope lines. Some good holes though
@willardgideon
Pars are incredibly generous and don’t make too much sense. Fun holes but as soon as you get off the fairway it is thorny and thick. Lost one disc and probably spent half my time out here searching for my discs. So if you can keep it on the fairway you will be great!
@bomberang
Loved this course and if it wasn’t an hour away I would play it a ton! I enjoyed the option to use the more generous course pars or tournament pars. My favorite thing about the course was the visual appeal of lots of the holes. You can definitely tell why it’s called Rockland once you get back in the woods! Absolutely would recommend if you’re in the area.
@velvethammer
Challenging wooded course. Looks like it will be even more challenging in the summer when everything is leafed out. Thorns everywhere, wear sturdy pants.
@hasslehoff
This course is amazing. Technical, wooded and even has some fairway drives on five of the holes. Condition of course was great with no course traffic when I played. Absolutely love throwing over legit ravines and having significant inclines on some of the wooded holes. Disregard reviews about poor maintenance outside of fairways. The course is in the woods, just hit your fairways! If you have trouble finding next hole, use the UDISC app to GPS locate. Highly recommend this mountain gem.
@briandejean
Great course. Tough lines. Play it from now until the leaves come back up.
@kegnation
Great course with a lot of risk/ reward shots. Overgrown in some areas, stay on the fairway or you might be leaving with some poison ivy
@jtharris13
Par 56🤙
@ajkenney10
Great course. Challenging lines on most holes. Definitely more open in the winter
@mandalorian540
When this course is freshly maintained there isn't a more challenging and rewarding course in the area. If you want tightly wooded fairways with lots of elevation changes look no further. Unfortuneately it is a very difficult place to keep maintained during the warmer seasons with thorns and briars lining every fairway.
@cptfury
This course has some very challenging holes. Particularly hole number six it’s a very sharp dog leg right up higher than the approach. You’ll have a great fun there’s a little over brush but y’all at the ambience of the course.
@gwlgreg
Got enough tress, now don’t ya? Get rid of the fairway edge thorns and brambles.
@davidmoose
Rockland Park is the best course in the area. 100-foot-tall trees line the fairways of this gorgeous park. I make a point to play it every time I come home. Dense rough along the fairways makes this a tough course to play in the summer, but Rockland rewards excellent, technical shots with tons of scoring opportunities. Play the tournament pars and enjoy this picturesque, unique course.
@anthonyscolaro
Couse-Challenging course as always. Real technical fun lines to throw. Lots of height variation comes in to the holes and shot selection. Great basket placements. Maintinance- Undergrowth from the amazing triming this summer has started to grow back unfortunately, lots of thorns still in every fairway. Some dead tall trees need cut down and removed on a lot of the fairways.
@thahn419
Have played this course a few times now. The more I play the more I like it
