This is a pasture course with lots of dense cedars/rough. There is very little shade. The course was not mowed except around the baskets and tee areas—useless for both ground play and making it easy to find discs. There is nothing novel in terms of scenery or shot selection, which is disappointing considering the property’s potential and the proximity to the lake. With Harry Myers being less than 15 minutes away and the Hideaway less than 30, this course should be a hard pass for anything other than die-hard locals supporting the efforts of the local parks and rec department.
@mzdfly
Front nine mostly open. Back nine more juniper trees. A few difficult lines.
@stogie12
What a let down. So much potential. They have the land and the woods to really do something great but have settled on mainly straight shots with little creative use of the trees save maybe 2-3 holes. This could be a fantastic course with a little creativity. Now it's just bland and lame.
@mikeywhite
Very open but still challenging and fun. Note that hole# 8 has a big pile of dead lumber in the fairway that makes RHBH more challenging. Like it a lot. 😀
@jpropps
Fun course. A little repetitive but overall a good time. Lots of trash cans but no benches. Decent view of the lake on a few holes.
@deezy321
Some gas line maintenance has parts of course extra muddy.
@firebird78s
So much potential wasted the same to shots for all except three holes. Great upkeep but very boring to play.
@coryallen
Construction doesn’t allow you to play past hole 4.
@blaster
Still construction
@tyranitar
Solid course in a fun property. Be careful of poison ivy and trees swallowing discs. Love AJ
@bigasstoaster
Overall well designed, not overly challenging and not very well kept.
@bergferguson
Course is new so some foot traffic would really help improve some of the roughs on the sides of the fairway. Has a Hideaway feel, stay on the fairways and you’ll have a good time.
@justinw33
Large brush pile in 8 fairway. But adds a fun twist.
@texrocker
Love the trees being trimmed. Caution on the new sign poles. Very short and easy to trip over.
@jmd1881
A lot better than it used to be, could still use some improvement
@monkeybalz16
Bring extra socks n shoes because the fairways don’t drain well Baskets not labeled and hard to figure out where the next tee box was on some holes
@zachzajac
This course has the potential to be amazing. The course is at a very clean and family friendly park. Once you know the layout, it’s challenging yet fun! It needs some trees cleared out and an updated U-Disc layout, but I definitely plan on returning again.
