Like some have said, it's long just to be long without much room for error. Beautiful scenery and there definitely are a lot of cool holes. The lines are there but you basically have to shoot perfect to have a decent shot at scoring here especially longs to longs. If you're just off those lines, I find it borderline not fun. I love challenging courses(nocki, aga, sank, faylor etc) and having some scramble shots, but this just wasn't it for me but I'm definitely in the minority in my take so go give it a try! There's a reason most people love it. I'm sure I'd feel much different if those throws just off the intended fairway had some windows to get through and still be rewarding for decent but not perfect shots
