I get that a college course might not get any attention over the summer, but there is nothing redeeming about this course. Almost every hole is blind from terrible footing tees, and some baskets leaning on hillsides making chains useless. After walking off of this course in 2023 after 6 holes, I challenged myself to finish a round, and barely endured it.
@philrush
Best shape I've ever seen the course

This course is on a great property and has a lot of potential. I’m working to refurbish the course but there is a lot of work to do. If you are interested in helping, look up SAI Farm Disc Golf Course on Facebook.

Great potential. Fun layout and variety of holes. Perfect for a way to get some good exercise as well due to the elevation changes. Lots of upkeep needed, but met staff on site and they’re working hard to get it on track. Will be back.
@budgnarly
If this course had tee pads and slightly better signage it would be higher rated. The rough is still some of the worst rough you’ll find around
@jzierer
Overall very fun course to play. If you go off fairway youre gonna have a bad time. Grass definitely needs cut more frequently. 11 extreme rough off fairway. Once tee pads are put in and more frequent maintenance happen this course is going to be pretty awesome
@robbythesheath
If you don’t throw perfectly straight you will lose your disc. Also plan on climbing a mountain to get to the back half
@cerasujoe
if you go off the fairway on any hole at all, you’re losing your disc forever
@drumbum92
Grass is mowed. and the signs aren't so bad. Those two things are what's good about this course. There is waist high grass within 5 steps of baskets. All along the fair ways are the thickest roughest rough that ever roughed. We stopped playing because we spent more time looking for discs then we did playing. You could have a beautiful shot that went 5 STEPS from the basket and lose that disc. Also there is a honest nest inside of the disc return box.
@jonjon88
Fun easy layout except for tall wild grass on middle holes. UDisc or your lost.
@samc0701
This course has come a long way in the last 2 years. Whole course is actually playable now and no more fields of thorns. Glad to see it's had some work done!
@dublar
Teepads would bring this up to a 3.5-4-star course. Amazing elevation, but with the temp layout, there's still a few wonky corners.
@whitfieldd12
Great upkeep and challenging terrains with a mix of pin locations. A great quiet round, with challenges to find a couple of tee boxes!
@damonjohnbarli
Contradicting directions, and no tee pads.
@nhansen005
Course was well maintained. Was my first time here. It was difficult to find where the first hole was. There was a box that looked like it held maps and scorecards but nothing was in it but a hornets nest. Maps would be nice to have. Other than that a challenging course up and down hills, so you'll get a nice workout in.
@zander77777
You would be very lucky to leave with all of your discs. Very poorly maintained. I did more hiking into the brush and trees and tall grass than actually throwing. I would absolutely not return.
@margram
This could be awsome with some unique holes but now you can't play half of them you will lose your disc's. If you miss an 8 foot wide fairway you are in waste high weeds very thick too. Will take serious machinery to mow this to playable but I hope they do.
@wrpryst
Trash
@garrettgates
Although I can appreciate the work being done here the course is in dire need of heavy machinery to clear the overgrowth especially on the top holes. The bottom 5 holes are still far from well maintained and it just keeps getting worse the further up you go. After the bottom 5 I didn’t even try to throw anything more than a putter because if you’re 6 inches off the narrow fairways a disc is likely gone forever.
