Decent, I think, sagebrush and sand dominant course. Nice work whoever managed to put it in. I hope it will continue to be used & maintained. Hot and calm day today. I suspect its normally windy.

About the course

Park at Sailboard Beach. The first tee is located just across the walking path. Holes 1-5 will play to the east of the parking area. Holes 6-9 are across the road and are fairly open holes. Cross the road again for holes 10-11 which will play to the west along the walking path. Holes 12-15 will cross the road west of the Main Street overpass. Hole 16 is back across the road and has mandos between the two trees half way to the basket. Holes 17-18 will lead you back to the parking lot. Course was designed with the help of Eric McCabe.

A fun sandy, beach area with manageable distance holes. Fun lines. Watch the wind as it will have a major effect in the open fairways. The train parallels the middle of the course. The triple mandos were fun.

I really enjoyed this course and feel it's underated. Nice shot variety and varying distances and scenery; from the beach to high desert. Spent a few minutes looking for discs playing solo but, that was my fault because the fairways are wide enough. Good signage and arrows pointing to the next tee, and I especially liked distance markers on hole 9. Definitely a play again course for me.
