@goobah
Tee areas are horrendous. Uneven, short, and slick rubber mats. Sometimes obstructed by bushes. Virtually no trails between baskets. Does not appear to have any upkeep schedule. Possibly worth playing once if you're a local, but Moraga commons is infinitely better.
@padrino
I have mixed feelings about this one. All the shot selections were great but navigating the course was rough. Luckily all holes were playable no tall grass but the front 5 were slippery bc of leaves and loose dirt bc you're playing along side of a hill so rollers are probable. But the trip to hole 6 from 5 so much poison oak so be careful bc it's a steep hill and you could easily slid into a bunch. And holes 6-8 there's a bunch of poison oak so watch where you throw and land. But overall I like it definitely not a destination course but since I'm local I'll play it again but not often
@reric69
This is def not a course for beginners, but still very fun! Be prepared for a hike and overgrowth on the 6-9. Especially the 8th! Bring a spotter if you can
@paytenholcombe
1 star because it does actually have baskets, otherwise zero. Absolutely no upkeep. I guess nobody at the college plays disc golf.
@izzyfoshizzy
Super fun course with a lot of shot variety. Sadly, looks rarely played and poorly maintained. Tons of potential. Definitely recommend if coming this way.
@theshepherd
The course has seen some recent maintenance, but there are still problems. There’s poison oak everywhere, including right around some baskets. Hole 9 plays through a construction zone. Tee pads are a mess. And finding your way around the puzzling layout is a challenge the first time out.
@joshschmidt
There are some fun shots, but the course needs some love. Wear shoes with good grip; the ground can be pretty slippery with the leaves and loose dirt. Walk down to the road when going to hole 6. Last hole is a fun, long down hill shot.
@justmike
Fun techniques… but need keep up with landscaping mow all holes… hole 6 need clear pathway in UDisc…will not come back until it’s clear.. thank you for making other course in Moraga!
@bizarrobigbass
Fun little course with a ton of potential. Teepads are small and can be slippery - but you can take ever shot as a standstill and still do well. Front 1-5 are short and technical, 6-9 are a bit longer but slightly more open. 9 is a fun bomb. Great scenery and great use of the space. I can see this becoming a very good course when proper teepads get installed.
@mcballerson
Tee pads weren't level and had puddles of mud on them, poison oak patches, there are unsafe crossing fairways . At least it's off the list
@johnosvald
Overgrown, treacherous, spent most of my time lokkk g for discs and risking ankles in a literal pile of construction garbage and spikes they’ve set up as a fairway. won’t be back ever.
@gkulaga
Has potential. Needs real teepads & better way finding but an ok place for technical shots & ace runs
@patrickkoi
Sneakily hard short course. Have to play good shots to score. Some tee areas weren’t great, but overall a great experience on a pretty campus.
@calvnnhobs
Fun technical shots, good signs and excellent baskets, but the paths are gone so getting around is tough. The rubble field on the signature hole 9 is dangerous, like throwing over a dump.
@sdreno
Fun to play. Mostly short and technical course with a bomber of a final hole. Critiques are that most tee boxes have uneven footing and there’s quite a bit of poison oak (especially on 7) to look out for.
@kortox
Short, technical course with elevation gains and drops. Mostly wooded so good on a hot day in Moraga. Hole 9 is divine, massive open air downhill shot with beautiful views below an observatory. Fallen tree on hole 4 could use removal or signage.
@beneckman
If you wanna have a fun time playing disc golf go to another course. If you want a very difficult time this is the place to go
@gooddaysunshine
Great technical but short course. Some solid tee pads would make a huge difference here. Still very fun.
