Fantastic course! I'm not sure what amenities you're expecting in the middle of the desert, just bring water and you'll be fine. Amazing views throughout the course, fun shot variety with some thoughtfully placed Mando's. This a MUST PLAY course in Arizona!
@cchristner
Love, love, loved this course! It's a little hard on discs, being a desert course, but so worth it. Nice variation on shots and good use of landscape and OB to keep things interesting.
@snarkyshark
Very well manicured course with lots of seating and easy to navigate with the walking paths. The rock art that is sprinkled throughout the course is a nice touch. Great variety in shots and the different pads on some holes ensures the course is friendly for all levels. Makes me wish I lived in Arizona so I could play this course more often. It's definitely one of my top courses ever played!
@conanbarb
Really fun desert course with multiple elevations. Only negative is the lack of proper signs
@parmcmuffin
This is a great workout with lots of shot shaping and wind. Lots of unique hole and layout. Don’t bring carts. Not recommended for novice players.
@skylerastock
8k+ steps, be prepared to hike up and down hills with no shade available. Most shot are open but demand you land in specific areas or you are ob are most likely to get par/bogey. Overall great course just be ready for a walk in the sun! Oh yeah did I mention the wind to add..
@camalings
This course is an awesome experience and can be very difficult with the out of bounds. The upkeep and just overall work put into the course is awesome. I very much enjoyed playing this course. You are in the desert there are rocks expect your discs to get beaten up. If you complain about that then heck pick up your discs and move to the Midwest. What do you want them to do plant a bunch of grass in the desert.
@opalwoby
Great use of the space that is out there. Throw uphill, throw downhill. I understood none of the OB’s/islands the first time through, but it’d be more fun next time. Lots of holes that are great for someone that throws about 300’. Uphill 250, downhill 375-400. A few more mandos might force some shot shapes.
@dallaskgarber
One of my favorite courses of all time, get past the rocks and it is an amazing course with great design and awesome rock creations.
@nomadnick
The most care I've ever seen go into a course, the rock art is amazing and the paths are very nice, you'll never have trouble knowing where the next tee is. That said I would not play this course again. I read other reviews and was shocked they mentioned the wind as a fault of this course, then I played it, on a day listed as 5mph winds but here that is not the case, at times my dg bag flapped in the wind like a cape, 10 ft putts would blow back. However the real kicker on why I wouldn't play this course is the rocks, a heavily wooded course can kill your discs but if you avoid the trees you're fine, but you can't avoid the ground. It's covered in rocks, I used a disc I got this week that is now my most beat up disc to the point I'm not sure it will fly right. I stopped using all but 2 discs pretty quick as the ground just destroyed them after a single throw. IF YOU PLAY THIS COURSE BRING YOUR MOST BEAT UP DISCS THAT YOU DONT PLAN ON USING AGAIN. ending back on the positive, I wish all discs golf courses had the care and attention this course is given
@frnknstev3
Solid course. As good as it gets with what is there.
@barry706
Sara is a very well laid out desert course. Ups and downs make even short holes tougher. Keeps it interesting.
@colbysed
Amazing course. Not just an open desert course. Multiple Mandos, including a triple mando. Really good elevation changes and very technical island holes. Well thought out course with multiple drop zones and 2 extra holes for a 20 hole layout. Lake views, Mountain View’s and driving discs off a cliff is always fun. A local has put a lot of time in rock circles, trails and little critter designs throughout the course. It’s a must play when visiting Havasu.
@wckenna
Awesome course, great maintenance and lines. Couldn’t be much better for a desert course
@rrucker21
Super fun and kuddos to the club who built and maintains it. They got the most out of the landscape they had to work with…does shred the discs though!
@gerickengle
What a beautiful course! I was taken in by the locals, they invited me to play league and were incredibly fun and friendly. Definitely play this course and enjoy the beautiful views.
