About the course
**SHORTER TEMPORARY BASKET ON HOLE 12. There is construction and digging operations happening around the normal hole 12 basket. DO NOT GO PAST ORANGE SNOW FENCING OR AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY SIGNS!**
The Ravine 18 was established throughout 2022 and officially opened in the spring of 2023 in a partnership between the US Army Corps of Engineers, Raystown Area Discgolf, Friends of Raystown Lake, Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau, Standing Stone Disc Golf Club, and Lets Go Throw.
As the name suggests this course plays through a lot of elevation change from ridges to ravines (bring your water and be ready for a hike). With the exception of holes 15 and 18 (one tee pad) all holes have 2, 6'x12' concrete tee pads which creates a blue (advanced) and white (intermediate) layout.
To get to hole 1 (and 10) cross the road you drove in on using one of the 2 crosswalks. The crosswalk closest to the North parking lot of the visitor center leads you through a split rail fence to the Ravine 18 kiosk which sits about 30 feet off of the road. Hole 10 is the tee pad directly to the right of the kiosk. To get to hole 1, go down the gravel path to the left of the kiosk and through
the open gate that leads to the skills park "viewing platform".
If you find any maintenance issues or you would like to volunteer to improve the course contact "Raystown Area Discgolf" on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/650776116484328.

Challenging, both with throwing lines and elevation changes. Bring good shoes and strong willpower for the hike. Slightly maddening at times. Still a solid course with some good gaps to test your mettle
