@jason115
This course has great potential. I love Severns Valley and it’s amazing to see when churches have disc golf courses. The community outreach potential is huge!! With that being said there are several things to keep in mind. 1. No tee pads yet 2. Little to no signage. Make sure you use UDisc or you won’t find your way around. 3. The main field was cut this year but the wooded holes are overgrown. I spent a good bit of time finding my discs. 4. This was a complete fluke butttt I threw one of my favorite discs down a storm drain. Not my best day of disc golf. Didn’t even have time to finish playing at that point.
@chrisbolton
Usually I wouldn't say anything bad about a whole course but this place kinda sucks
@jfc666
Hardly playable as it currently is, hopefully it'll be finished soon
@rcoale
Lazy groundskeepers make bringing home chiggers and briars a requirement of play. Mow or stay away.
@dubert21133
Couldn't figure out where to start other then using the app. Even then got completely turned around in the woods and found holes that aren't even on the app.. dirt tee pads, not a big deal but no guidance on where to go is the issue. Maybe next time I will try it out
@dumbpilot5
It was kind of dirty and uncut, with confusing goals and hard to see teeing zones, but as long as you use the GPS map properly it won't be an issue. Other than that though it was a fun first course.
@bigjohnstud01
Up keep of the grass is good but no tee pads and some what confusing.
@ninjaskitzo8
Had to have UDisc Map to know where to go...and even that wasn't very accurate. Hole #s written over with sharpie (?), Hole 9 going away from 1's tee seems a little pointless...if it's only 9 holes, 9s basket should be VERY little walking from parking spot...need more shade and less thorns...walking from 1s basket to 2s tee seems dangerous if the course is crowded. Plenty of room to design better...just seems lazy. Like a beginner threw a disc and put the basket wherever it landed, or threw twice and set basket where it landed. I've played 14 courses across the state and this is EASILY the worst/most amateur design I've seen.
@porkboy
Hole 7 missing sign. A couple of baskets not obvious which hole they belong to.
@reddend
A little bit of paint on sidewalks to signify the tees, or small laminated sign, then it’s a 4.5.
@thegrimjourney
Has potential. Nice quick rounds.
@jesterheart
Not a terrible course but no signage or tees. The flags marked for tees are missing and the wooded area is completely rough.
@swaggyd69
Needs some up keeping and tee boxes not well marked but not terrible to play
@avi4nflu
Upkeep is great. The layout is terrible.
@dannyman13
Confusing without app and even with app it took me a while to find tees. No signage or tee pads. Regardless still nice course and easy par 4 on hole 6 for a birdie look.
@slurpmcflurp
Bad layout
@robeysmith
Course confusing. Hole 2 has no shot from the tee area. Mostly wide open so not much variety of shots.
@tschexneider
It’s a fun short course, but the layout is confusing without udisc and tee pads are needed.
@rocketsam73
I feel like as this course develops it will be great. I didn’t always find the tee but I made due. I appreciate the people who built it.
