@tellsons1
The changes to add a red layout is great but you’re delusional if yellow 8, 13, and 16 are par 3 for “amateur/beginner”Change the pars or don’t claim it’s an amateur layout
@simmyjellers
Fantastic place! I’m surprised there are complaints. 90 minutes from home and worth all of that time. Thanks!!!
@alexferry
Most of the wooded holes are basically just tees and baskets in unaltered woods. Very punishing and most lines don’t make much sense. Other than that, great course.
@beejmc
Good community park course. Some woods holes, the rest are open/semi open with some bordering ball fields or playgrounds. Elevation in play throughout most of course, though not too demanding physically or even in terms of shot shaping. Holes 15 and 16 are huck-n-chuck-luck holes and probably should be redesigned. Pretty fun course however, will ramp it up and dial it back and have Ace runs in many cases. Very well maintained.
@anthonyfertitta
Beautiful course! Absolute must play.
@borser1
Fun course with two basket options per hole. Good mix of wooded and open shots with concrete tee pads and signs at each tee box. Some of the holes are kinda far apart and a couple times it was a little confusing on where the next tee box is but the app is accurate. Also the wooded holes had basically no good lines to throw through dense trees. But course was designed well mixing open and wooded holes and using tree lines and hills to have good shot variety. At times holes come in contact with trails/benches/game fields. But overall not a big issue. Fun course and would play again
@joeluhlmeyer
Fun and varied track. Opens up here and there but a lot of tight, heavily wooded fairways. Requires some different shots, but a lot of holes play a standard right to left shot. The mandos are a bit frustrating as a lot of them seem uneeded. Particularly on 13, I am unsure what the goal of either mando is. There are a lot of them and most are head scratchers as to why they were put there at all. Some of the fairways are a but too crowded. Namely 3 and 16. 16s sign is also a bit misleading if you're playing the longs. It's a shame they did not add drainage rock around the large sports field by 9 and 10. Turns into quite a soupy mess. All around good course with the potential to grow into a great one.
@accollier1347
Great course. Mix of open and wooded with good shot variety, elevation and distance.
@northernpines
A great park course that wraps itself around the baseball and soccer fields. A lot of open space makes it beginner friendly, while having a second set of baskets on all 18 give advanced players challenges
@jmgrunwald
Hole 15 and 16 need a fairway. There is none. Also hole 6 need a fairway as well. Holes7 & 8 are huge arm throws that I don’t have so it’s hard to get a par.
@fartpants
Pretty boring straight to fade shots for most part and kinda open. Some of the new reds are great and some are awful 2,7,15. 12is a lost disc, poison ivy and ticks. Some elevation on most holes keeps this course better than average.
@davidschauers
Great course and new concrete tee pads are a super plus
@nugitmaster
Fair pars and good mix of shots. Love the two layouts to give everyone a good time
@jgeiman
With the addition of the long layout on this course, it has all the shots you ever want on a great course. One of the best in the Harrisburg area.
@cntbg23
Beautiful, fun, beginner friendly. Lots of walking. Loved it!
@keithbru
What ourmt for the bees nest next to 18 tee pad on the left by the small trees!
@brunoheisner
A few of the wooded holes need a few lines established. And some of the holes play a little close to each other. Beautiful course otherwise.
@dparkent
One of my favorite all around courses. Good mix of open and wooded shots around an active park. Love the new tee pads and additional baskets.
@redrum854
Fun course but wooded holes are pure luck for par 3.
