@laudan713
Course have little variety, most holes are 300ft and clear line of sight from the pad. Holes 15 - 18 were the highlight.
@chrischainz
It's a good thing this course is getting an upgrade. Shelby Farms should have one of the best 18 in Memphis and not one missing tee pads and signs.
@vsmVNokZKa
Fun but very open
@jugglingfool
Wait for the redesign they mentioned on some signs around the course. Unless you like throwing into an empty field a lot.
@cdubs1104
Many baskets that are rusted out and with broken chains. Tee pads are bad too. Ready for the upgrade!
@adarsheere
The only reason it gets this bad of a rating is because of negligence.. Sad
@kevin4discgolf
How about a tournament to raise money for new everything, (baskets/signs/t-pads & including layout)???????
@tyler
As other reviews pointed out, using UDisc maps is a necessity as there is no signage whatsoever. Many holes did have a mowed path between each basket and the next teepad, though. Much of the course is wide open, but there was an enough variety to keep it interesting. Some of the basket placements were questionable as they were directly behind a hill and not visible from the teepad. Again, using UDisc maps was really needed. The teepads were mostly concrete with some dirt and turf. A few were gravel pits which I avoided. The park has a ton of open space, which makes sense to use for the course, but I wish more holes were in the woods. The holes that were adjacent to the woods and involved more trees were by far my favorite. Overall, this is a fun course that has potential to be a lot better.
@jmitch556
Nice place for beginners, basically all in the open. (From an out of towner) The park here is beautiful and must have had a high budget. Unfortunately not much of that budget goes to the disk course. Layout is lame considering what it could be. Baskets and tee pads are old and could use replaced.
@benteria
Course is too wide open. The same shot into an open field over and over. You may see a deer, likely a deer tic, it’s all par for the course.
@kryan19
Fun course with a variety of distances and shots. Good course for all levels.
@stratbond
Tee boxes could use some work but loved the course otherwise
@ozzy14
ALL BRAND NEW! REDESIGNED! Awesome pro caliber course. Shelby Farms 🦬 pulled out all the stops this time with... all brand new: baskets, signs, short and long concrete pads, and short and long placements. Well designed layout by Perks and Re-creation. Nice variety of open, wooded 🌳 uphill, downhill, short, and long including: tunnels, landing zones for tight treeline gaps, par 4s, par 5s, double mandos, and water hazards 🌊. Excellent amenities at the Visitor Center including restrooms, a water bottle filling station, drink and food vending machines. Also, coffee ☕️, hot and cold sandwiches 🥪, wrap bowels, bagels, hot chocolate and more at the Belltower Coffeehouse, and the Shop at Lake's Edge. Hole 1 ⛳️ is north of and past the end of the parking lot across the little railroad tie bridge by the gravel road. May have to start setting tee times for this one. 🀄
@drewdahlsten
This is a fun course, but a little tricky for beginners like me. Not because it’s technical (there are a few places it is) but because it’s long. So a good place to practice up shots if you don’t have much distance yet, like me.
@josiahjohnson
Needs new pads and baskets.....or a total redesign
@jeremybeier
It’s a fun course, T pads need to be laid and some basket need to be replaced but great course to give yourself some challenging shots and have fun. Needs signs
@davehaws
Great course. More technical than expected from the openness. However, tee boxes could really be improved. Putting gravel in a wood box does not a tee box make.
