@vertseven
A nice little park course with a few trees to avoid. The State Park is well maintained.
@jarretgersh
No tee pads. Need to have flags on the pins. All holes are very similar in design. Fun though and will be back for sure.
@davep123
Nice views. Grass tee pads. Some fun shots. Not a bad track.
@generik10
Front 9 was not good. Back 9 had a little pizazz to it. UDisc locations are not up to date for a lot of holes so navigation was very confusing for a first timer here. No tee pads or signs either. The ocean and deer we saw made up for the below average course lol
@tshirk
I’d love to see better signage and more defined tee pads.
@tjmilk
Great open course, great new tee signs, still ALOT of poop 💩
@ghrostek
Absolutely need the UDisc map/tracking to find tees and holes. Tons of goose droppings as well but really fun course overall.
@whovrt
Strong 3.5. The way finding, signage, and lack of tee pads are the only downsides but won’t stop you from having a fun time hucking.
@discgolfphoenix
Sherwood Island is a nice course to learn the game, work on specific shots, and get out for a relaxing time. Each hole is pretty much the same with the exception of varying distance. Great location right on the water offering classic Fairfield County beach time. Located close to other amenities and great to go house looking- if that’s your thing.
@maddad909
When this place gets tee pads and signage it will be amazing!!
@cookehs
Definitely need UDisc right now to get around, but the course makes pretty good use of the land best it can for making holes interesting with some technical mixed in. Pads and signs would make it a real soild course.
@darrenblaszka
Course signage is basically non existent. For me that detracted from the experience, needing have to use udisc to way find. Overall, I loved the course, I play mostly wooded courses so a coastal setting was something new.
@thorelick522
First time playing and was genuinely surprised how fun of a course it is especially for being only 13 baskets. Lots of different lines and certainly some challenging hole locations.
@sherbear13
For the time being until unofficial design is released by Sherwood Island 18 on 13 is a great solution! Look for the pink numbered tags on the ground for the tees.
@armandu
This new 18 on 10 holes is the worst layout out of any disc golf course in the country. Hole 5 doesn’t even exist like it says it does on the map. No basket on it what so ever like there used to be. There was no need to change the course from the original 18 it used to be. The original 18 here was amazing. Now this new shit they designed for absolutely no reason has made this course complete shit. I wouldn’t play here ever again unless they bring back the old 18. Don’t waste your time to come play 18 on 10 baskets because the layout of the holes don’t make any sense and the layout is trash now. Thank you to the staff of Sherwood island for ruining a perfectly fine disc golf course that I used to love coming to. There was no need to change it. Absolute joke.
@sdolling
New layout ‘18 on 13’ to also make use of 4 re-installed baskets and others relocated over the summer.
@timothyrwest
The course is no longer set up as listed on the map. You will need to make up your own course or we need to load a new design into this app. There are plenty of baskets and you can be creative because there are never any other people out here on this course.
@hyoomac
Redesigned. uDisc is a necessity for navigating the course. The first 11 holes now play across a couple of largely open fields with little in the way of obstacles. But in the back third of the course, many of the old best holes remain (and a few are tweaked with better basket positions). Detailed review at dgcoursereview.com
@offthewalski
New layout is much improved and lots of fun shots.
