About the course
Somerniemi DiscGolfPark on syksyllä 2025 valmistunut kaksi eritasoista layouttia sisältävä frisbeegolfrata. Vaikeampi Gold Layout on vaativa AAA-luokituksen frisbeegolfrata, joka tarjoaa haastetta myös huipputason pelaajille. Helpompi Blue Layout on AA-luokituksen frisbeegolfrata, jossa pääsee kokemaan vastaavat huippuhetket kuin Gold Layoutilla, mutta väyläpituudet ovat maltillisempia ja saattavat tarjota myös huippuheitoilla eaglesaumoja.
Rata kulkee metsäisessä maastossa, joka sisältää paljon korkeuseroja ja on näin ollen fyysisesti haastava. Radalta tarvitaan monipuolisesti erilaisia heittoja poikkeuksellisen tiukoista puukujista hulppeisiin ja jännittäviin alamäkiliidätyksiin. Somerniemi DiscGolfPark on rakennettu Leader rahoituksella Varsinais-Suomen Jokivarsikumppanit Ry:n kautta. Radan rakentamisen on lisäksi mahdollistaneet paikalliset sponsoriyhteistyöt.
Frisbeegolfrata on rakennettu talkoovoimin Somerniemen Mandomissien ja Someron Esan toimesta.

Tosi hyvä rata ja väylä siirrot merkattu hienosti.. Väylä 12 jälkeen alkaa fyysisin osuus radalla.. Porfa vor vaan! 😄
