This is a course under development. It is very open but the design of the course is making use of the few trees and of the water (and of course the wind) for difficulty. I throw 85 meters on a good drive and at that distance water is really in play on many holes. The features of the course is the nice park atmosphere with the soft rolling hills and a lot of water. There is a vending machine to buy drinks and if you are lucky the clubhouse is open to shelter you from the heat. David is ambitious and has plans to continue develop the course. As many courses in China are difficult to reach and may require a contact beforehand the accessibility of this course is also a feature. You may just show up and pay by scanning the QR-code with Alipay. If you are in Shanghai on a business trip, bring a few discs and take a break in Pudong. That said, there are regular club activities so you can reach out to David and see if you can join. They even have the occasional glow-round.
