No upkeep. Signage lacking and hard to find. Poor course design.

A poorly designed course, with little shot variety. No signs at basket indicating way to next tee. A long walk between basket 3 and fourth tee

Need to mow the fair ways and clean up on hole 5 and hole 9 better

This course needs to be maintained if you go a foot off the trail you are in deep trouble. I found three discs on hole one within 30 seconds.

Some longer shots with uphill/downhill elevation and lots of trees. Hole 6 downhill 450 tunnel is sick!

Lost my disc for 20 minutes in the brush. Stay on the course as much as you can.

Upkeep was not as terrible as other reviews - well mowed when we played. But the rough is brutal, definitely play this one solo. Beautiful views, plays up and down a wooded trail area. Walk from hole 3 to hole 4 is long

Fairways and pathways could be better maintained by the school. Long grass and weeds for a fairway. Btatches and narrow paths between tees. Baskets are over grown with plants on some holes. Without udisc finding a path between hole 3 and 4 is difficult.

Good enough use of the land. Need a spotter for a hole or two

This place needs some TLC, needs tee pads better signage, also better mowing and trimming.. could be nice though

Fairways are rough. And narrow course is not overly long. If it's your first time here finding the start is difficult without a map. Pay attention on the tea boxes as it will give you a guess to where the next hole will start. Bug spray for Critters and Band-Aids for thorn abrasions is suggested highly

Spooner is an OG course. If you know, you know.

Beautiful layout. Fairly tough for a nine hole

Fun little nine though x-country trails. Rough is super rough with thorns everywhere. Trees 1/5

Prepare to get emotional in hole 6. In total discs lost my family and I lost 6 discs out of 7 people. Otherwise it is a fun course.

Dangerous design forcing you to throw over walking/biking path. The rough is very rough - long pants and sleeves plus bug spray recommended. Bring some throwaway discs unless you like searching for hours after a bad throw. Quiet and peaceful course that offers narrow fairways with blind spots. Could have been mowed a bit better but did not affect the play too much. Not bad IF you can stay out of the rough - good luck!

Nice, woodsy course. Narrow fairways. Tall grass can eat discs. Lots of thorny raspberry plants in the rough.

Nicely maintained. Interesting mix of woods and prairie. Could use some signage on the LONG walk between holes 3 and 4.

A few good holes, but too many frustrating holes with blind drives and deep rough. Even with a spotter you'll probably lose a disc.
