It would be cool to see the course incorporate some semi rough, but if anybody is complaining about this course, they have no idea what they're talking about.
I've played hundreds of courses around the US and this is one of the better free to play courses I've seen. It's sad to see the unwarranted negative reviews, but disc golfers are kinda losers, so it's to be expected.
Yes, the shapes are hard and you have to work through your whole bag. So what? That was awesome. If you want to play park golf, there's plenty around. 👍

Depending on your skill level, I’d recommend playing the red pins. The yellow ones are definitely farther and tucked back in some weird spots sometimes

Great course hidden in Stillwater, gets better upkeep than the Preserve these days. Combos of Long/Short Tees and Pins make for many combos. A few holes are so tight there isn't quite a true line, but most are very fair fun holes.

Long tees to yellow baskets: a challenging wooded course. Pleasant forest course.

Place is a gem. Not sure why the low rating, but it's an awesome course that's well maintained. Two baskets and pads per hole and its fairly tough to lose a disc despite the wooded terrain. Had the place to myself and spent a couple hours enjoying the day.

Very hard course. I need to get a better side arm to make it easier. Lol

Half the course is a testament to good woods golf. The other half of the course could be easily improved by someone who knows how to design a course.

Pay no mind to the salty boys below. This course is solid and is very playable for any skill level as long as you play the right tee and pin.

Shorts look fun, longs are on a whole nother level though. Brutal but fun. Signs need updated though when so many baskets are blind. Glad we stopped!

One of the elite courses in this area! Bugs? Yea of course there are… it’s Minnesota in June and expected. Course layout for long tees to yellow baskets is great and challenging for pro level players. Otherwise, I’d recommend short tees to red baskets for beginners. Good luck!
