"There is a big downed tree canopy blocking hole 8’s fairway. Another tree’s canopy is hanging down on hole 16, demanding a drive from the long tees be a laser. Otherwise the course is looking great!"

"Big fan of how many trash bins there are throughout the course. Very well maintained fairways and the rough is fairly trimmed down as well. A lot of fun tunnel shots."

"What a gem! Tucked down in a little valley, nicely wooded. Well kept, excellent signage. With four options at each hole, you could play hundreds of variations on this course."

"Good enjoyable course with a short front 9 and longer back 9. A few fairways didn't leave many options, but overall well designed and decently maintained. Lacking any wow holes, but more than made up for with good variety, good signage and great cages."

"Very enjoyable... it’d be easy to nitpick it to death, but why bother? Get outside, go play, and stay positive. PS - Had a bad day on the course, but I won’t hesitate to drive back from Des Moines for a do-over if that tells you anything. I’ll be shooting under par next time! LAGOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"If you are in the area, you need to play this course. Nicely laid out and decent signs. They have cleared out most of the downed trees. Super cool, old, big trees. Great hike through some really cool woods."

"Love this course allows for a variety of shots. Has been very well manicured as of late. Front nine is reasonably short and the back opens up a little more and is longer. "Played here dozens of times. Timely cleanup after storms. Great mix of tight wooded holes and open shots as well. Love the double tees and baskets. Signs are good as well. Would recommend!"

"Really good course with 4 different layout combinations. Good mix of forehand and backhand shots with not too punishing rough. Only knock is it’s a relatively short course so there’s not a ton of bomber style shots or long par 4’s. "

"Not sure if parking permit is required for course parking lot, but sign at entry to encompassing lot says permit required at all times. Went twice without issue. Great course for breaking up a road trip. Easy to find, good layout, options for pads and baskets."

"The rocks at the end of the wee pads are a bit big so when you step on them on follow through they move a little and might throw you off balance otherwise one of the best course I've played"

"Lots of overgrown roughs. Keep it in the fairway and you'll be fine. Otherwise, wear some jeans and bring bug spray. "
