About the Course
Summerfield Park is a 9-hole course with an unofficial back 9 layout that utilizes some of the front 9 tee pads and baskets. Hole 1 is directly to the right of the parking lot and then proceeds counterclockwise around the park perimeter. The front 9 has turf tee pads and 3 of the back 9 holes are currently grass. The back 9 has was added by locals late 2020 which features a little more challenge including two par 4s. While most of the back 9 utilizes the front 9 turf pads, holes 10, 12, & 13 do not and are not currently marked on the course. Please refer to the UDisc map to locate the tee locations for holes 10-13 as we hope to install additional tee pads in the future. Noteworthy: - Please use caution on hole 10's tee shots as you navigate the large oak tree beside the playground.) - Lost and found: A disc drop box has been added near basket #5 along the white vinyl fence. Please return all found discs via the drop box. Discs found without contact info should be posted on the Houma Disc Golf Facebook page. - Dog friendly - No restrooms (currently)

"This is a clean little 9 hole, par 27, pitch and putt course with nice baskets and marked tee pads. See “Local Back 9” layout, for increased difficulty. "

"Small short course, good for practicing putter or midrange discs. Not very challenging for advanced players. "
