Just played both tees on my vacation here. Kudos to the designer of this course! This is challenging and fun! Some of the shorts are more challenging than the longs based on par and pin location. The fairway on 10 is the biggest problem on this course during construction. I would either play this hole as a par 5 if you are playing casually during construction. Shot variety is really top notch, and you need some power to get it to a few of these circles. Once this course is finalized, I can see it being one of the best in the state/region. Reminds me a lot of some of the courses we have in Pittsburgh. Keep up the good work!

Course definitely needs more work. Paths to tee pads need cleared more. Areas around tee pads need cleared more. Signage needs improved. Long distances between holes could use an additional sign. Definitely bring bug spray. Lots of elevation changes. On a positive note, the course has really good potential. Monthly work days would do wonders. Course work once leaves fall off is vital. Use downed branches/trees to line pathways. If I come back to the area, I would play again.

The signs don't seem to be the scale at all. Awkward placement of them as well. You definitely want to keep udisc on you to find where you're going if it's your first or second time out here. Ones you're familiar with the layout. It's not awful.
@cdennler23
Overall the course has potential. Probably shouldn’t have opened yet. Still needs a TON of maintenance. Tee boxes were great (concrete), but the signage was off a lot. Several tee boxes missing for the Short option. Give it a few years and maybe the signs, etc will be better. BRING YOUR HIKING SHOES and WEAR PANTS, not shorts.
@baldtommy
Wish the course had more clear signage to direct us to the next hole. Spent way too much time walking ahead just to see where the tees were. We were also following the map And it was still confusing
@dsmith400
Lots of maintenance still required. Fairways from long tees are basically non existent. Trees are marked to be cut at least. Has high potential don't expect a finished course yet. 4 star rating for the potential

Gorgeous property in a secluded area. This has potential and enough land for 2 incredible courses and would make for a great destination for players. Nearly all of the front 9 seems as if tees and baskets were just thrown in and hoping for the best. The intended line is either nowhere to be found or unreasonably small with super punishing rollaway potential. The Front 9 is more frustrating than challenging. Add in some really long and uphill walks and it’s not enjoyable. A lot of work needs to be done, but this can be a facility on par with New London Tech and North Cove with people who know what they’re doing involved.
@rawilliams92
Very fun course. I know this is a work in progress, but I have a couple recommendations regarding safety. I think there should be stairs/a pathway from the basket of 13 to the tee pad of 14, other wow you are walking right on the fairway of 14. Similar for 17 to 18. The pink flags are helpful. Very excited to have a course in Summersville!
@evankennedy
Once this corse gets broken in a little bit and used it has some really nice shot design. Only did first 8 before the sunset
@bgreen736
Outside of navigating between a couple holes the course was fantastic and I can't wait to return, the climb from 17 to 18 is a monster tho!
