About the course

PDGA SANCTIONED SUNDAY LEAGUE starts up again 9/29/24 Check udisc events for start times $3.00 to play Course Slope: Par 57 is about 870 rated Sanctioned Course Records Pro: Clint Calvin -17 (40) 1070 rated Am: Marcus Cathey -14 (43) 1035 rated Pros -easy navigation -island hole 17 (drop zone at sewer if missed) -triple mando hole 3 -drys after light/medium rain -nice signage -has "rock ponds" that act as OB -well maintained -nice baskets -all shot types are helpful -good mix of long and short holes -single use area for disc golf -hanging basket hole 18 (hanging basket was stolen by some dirtball scumbag) -sanctioned league play available Cons -plays around water treatment plant (smell) -desert course can be a little tough on discs -gravel tee pads can sometimes feel uneven -slight disc loss opportunities -can flood during heavy rain Desert style 18 hole course that's plays around a sewer treatment plan. There is walls guarding the factory and some residential yards to throw a disc into but not too many holes give you a chance to do this. Gravel pads are packed but at times can feel slightly uneven. A nice touch is the gravel paths leading you to the next tee making navigation a piece of cake. The "rock ponds" play as water without the risk of losing your disc. These are all treated as out of bounds. Do not play your disc in these ponds, it is dangerous, and it is against how the course was intended to be played. Rock ponds come into play on 10 of the holes and some pin placements near these ponds make play interesting. A nice amount of fun holes with the triple mando hole 3, 730ft hole 11, and 230ft island hole 17, make this a hidden gem for the far west valley that's definitely worth a play. Sundance HOA residence is not enforced but you need to be respectful to the course and neighborhood to ensure this is continued. Please throw away any trash, there are bins at hole 1, hole 12 (by the park), hole 15, and the walk between holes 16 & 17 (by the park).

Good course but limited shots and tee pads not for every hole. Mostly wide open. Rocks make it tricky if you play them as ob.

Solid little course. Good place to stretch your legs and get some reps. Rocky.
