About the course
Kirkwood Park is set in 16 glorious acres in the heart of Swanage, just 500 meters back from the middle of the seafront. The varied 1000+ meter 18 hole course is laid out for pitch and putt, football and disc golf.
We welcome all ages and ability levels and provide and include everything you need for your games in the green fee price (except the skill of course!) There are no fussy rules or dress codes and unless you are a very large group there is no need to book your tee time in advance.
The site is a wildlife haven of mature trees and hedgerows, meadowland with the Swan Brook running through and rough grassland areas teeming with a variety of birds and butterflies. Superb views of Ballard Down and the Swanage Steam Railway running alongside go to make Kirkwood Park a complete Purbeck holiday experience.
The course is shared between pitch-and-putt ball golf, football golf, and disc golf. The disc golf course uses the football golf buckets (no baskets). All holes are par 3s, but lengths vary significantly, with some simply requiring a putt off the tee, and the longest being a bit over 100m (350ft).

Okay for a round with the kids. Definitely designed for foot/ball golf. Potential for a nice course to be designed with less holes for more distance. High chance of losing discs in the bushes. Putting into the foot golf holes is a bit underwhelming for the price.

It's an object course on a mixed use platform. The owner is nice. 300ft is longest and 80ft is the shortest. Mostly open shots.
