@saminden
Nice hole design but unplayable on a couple holes due to tight fairways, difficult rough and elevation
@nathanalleman
The Udisc aggregate score for this course is 4.2, a number likely accurate but in need of narration. SCB is better than that, in terms of a great property with beautiful hills, woods, and shot variety, with caveats. New Discatcher baskets are also a plus, as is the potential for a meal and drink after, though no bathrooms available when brewery is closed. The score pushes down toward a 4, for several reasons: the narrowess of the lot means hole lines overlap or are close together, at times in confusing ways, such as hole 3, which points toward the hole 6 basket and looks like a natural course flow. Add to that way finding challenges, makes for easy confusion. Some baskets have next tee arrows in them and there are some white arrows to aid navigation, but inconsistent tee signs and arrows make the first play challenging. As well, there are several steep 600' par 4 holes that reflect the least fun aspects of dg: throwing straight uphill over and over. Odd also that hole 18 finishes so far from the start (again, lot limitations). Finally, tees are turf on dirt/gravel, which some places are not level and have bumps to navigate. So, better tee signs, pads, and directions would help get close to a 4.5, but given what can be done with the property, in not sure Flow can be improved enough. Nevertheless, SCB is well worth the drive for some really memorable holes, but be prepared for the hike; course is NOT cart friendly!
@rgmartin
Amazing day to play disc golf on an amazing course. Loved it.
@treetickles
Some hard and long holes. Awesome brewery. Neat spot!
@jrsbball
Very nice course! Very difficult to play for amateurs and intermediates. Long wholes through many obstacles.
@wwbow7
Great course, well maintained. Welcomed new baskets. Bugs were a bit much for us. Their favorite flavor is obviously Deet because they hung out with us the entire time.
@tannerv71
Not much shade, good variety of shots, signage was questionable.
@oreopizza
Not much shade, overall fun course, fairly well maintained sub par signage
@martiltm
Wonderfully challenging course. Thursday - Saturday (Sunday too after Easter thru December) enjoy a pizza and beer after the round! You can even order from hole 16 so your food is ready when you're done. Front 9 is family friendly, the back 9 is wooded and very hilly. Bring your water bottle!! It's a farm... watch where you step, and there can be poison ivy around during the warm months Course is open even when the business is closed, but water and restrooms aren't available then.
@adamfields
Decent little course half open half woods right near farm. The keypads are less than desirable just pieces of carpet laid on the ground. All the baskets had a lean to them and our old baskets the signage was mediocre, but the brewery makes everything all better.
@ludlam33
Great layout, nice little workout, with the new updated baskets this course 🔥🔥🔥.

We were on our way to West Virginia and found this place about an hour away from where we were staying so stopped in on the way. First off, the beer was great and the pizza was some of the best pizza I have ever had. The course itself was awesome. Some really long shots and a lot of elevation changes. I got my exercise in for sure. I loved it overall and would come back. The only thing that could change is the tee pads, concrete pads would make this a 5 star. Fun time!
@anthonyscolaro
Course is a challenge but a blast. Better baskets would be good and clearing back thorns on the wooded holes would be wonderful. Beer and food is EXCELLENT.
@noahdodge
I’ve been playing this course since its inception. I feel like with every change it gets better and also a little more difficult. This is my favorite iteration so far! Be prepared for a hike. Lots of elevation change and some long and demanding lines. This course is best suited for the intermediate to Pro level player. Check for ticks in the summertime! And don’t forget to stop for a post round pint or pizza at the brewery if you play during business hours.
@paulbailey10
Awesome course. Beautiful scenery and hole design. Elevation is used to create unique fairways and tough greens. There are several cool features like elevated baskets and hanging basket. There are also practice baskets around the outdoor seating for the taproom!
@dcastle
Eric and gang have really made this course into a must-stop destination. It, for sure, belongs in the upper echelon of Virginia disc golf courses.
@bobarama
The course is in great shape.
