About the course

Located in Hinton Park, this is a pristine, 18-hole (36-tee pad) course that has an incredible variation of shots. Ranging from tight, wooded holes to open bombers to tall grass lining the fairways, this spectacular course is great for both beginners and advanced players alike. There are two tee pads for every hole, (blue and red). BRAND NEW: 9 holes were added to this course in October of 2024, expanding the footprint of this impeccable course. If you’re feeling dangerous, try The Gauntlet: a 36-hole layout that explores every tee pad on the course.

History

Front 9 was unveiled in 2015 with Mach 3 baskets installed. In October 2024, 9 additional holes, including three par fours, were added with Veterans baskets. In August of 2025, the Mach 3 baskets were replaced with Veterans baskets, bringing uniformity to the course. In October 2025, the first PDGA-sanctioned tournament, Harvest for Hinton, was hosted at the course. New signage was also installed at that time.

All fairways are mostly open and clear of debris. There are benches on which you can rest on holes 2, 5, 7, 12, 15, and 17. The layout is relatively flat and there are wide bridges with handrails that cross creeks.

Great course just plan on lots of standing water after rain. Some baskets require taller waterproof shoes that hold a lot of water for disc retrieval. Could definitely use some mowing in the rough off both sides of fairway on at least 4-5 holes. Almost stepped on a snake retrieving a disc in the rough. Waste & chest high grass as of mid June in the rough. Beautiful course. Just needs better drainage and mowing. Fairways are kept up great though. One other thing is there is lots of broken glass on hole 6 and then again on hole 7. Almost looks like somebody shattered several bottles right on the hole 6 teepad. I bring my dog disc golfing when allowed and that pisses me off. Please don’t litter!
