About the course

This course was built for the community of New Windsor, MD. It is a short course geared toward beginners but also challenging. The course starts at the beginning of the walking path on Atlee Ridge Road. Holes 1 through 7 are along the walking path. Holes 4 and 7 share a t pad. To play the next 11 holes go back out to Old New Windsor Road make a right and an immediate left you will see a skatepark, two baseball fields and hole eight will be on your right hand side. ( it's not that long of a walk) You will be able to see multiple basket locations from all the T pads. All the baskets are marked with stickers, so as you pass different pin locations take note as to what hole it is or if there's any confusion it's a short walk to check to see what hole it is. Hole 10 plays across the creek. Holes 11 and 12 share a t pad because I didn't want to cross property lines with an errant throw. There will also be some Mandos going up to protect other T pads and basket locations. It is my intention to play the baseball fields as a hazard on holes 9, 13, and 17. The skatepark is OB. The Tall Grass to the right of 8 is OB. The pump house behind hole 8 is OB. All water is OB. There is a silt fence that will come into play on hole 11 and 13 that is also OB. The fence to the right of hole 16 is OB.

Not much of a course. I like the style of the front 7 (short, lightly wooded holes) but the rough is rough and you throw over a walking path regularly. Backside holes play around a couple of baseball fields and are more open. To get to the backside, you have to cross a road with no crosswalk. Must use UDisc to navigate between holes.

Nice use of public space, the back nine feels a little apocalyptic. Cool, but definitely surreal at times. Keep an eye on your discs.
