@spydergirl21
Could use a little bit of upkeep. On baskets mark where next tee is.
@btsnyder85
Very difficult, woodsy coarse with many steep up and down areas. 90%is in the woods. Beware of the poison ivy along the trails. You need to be in pretty good shape to complete this coarse without hiking struggle. Seemed that there were a couple tees not exactly matching the gps map locations.
@nateleet87
No tee pads is a bummer, like a lot of other reviews, add tee pads, improved signage and some course cleanup this would be a solid 4.5. Also Udisc isn't accurate with a couple holes, had to walk around to find some.
@brianphillips
Let's start off with no tee pads. Let alone level ground to throw from.. starts off like a walking trail. Tee signs are plan and simple. Course needs general clean up, doesn't seem to be maintained very well
@gooneybird
Nice little wooded ace run course, lots of elevation changes, potential to be very muddy. Needs some clean up in the valley, perhaps line the walkways w the fallen trees and add more steps when going up and down the hills. Lots of potential here, just needs TLC!
@bigboypanties
The new 18 hole layout takes the player through the woods and ravine adjacent to the kids playground area. Though the hole distances are on the short side, the technicality requires very narrow gaps between trees with many precise fading shots. So many holes feel like a birdie is coming, only to be disappointed by a last-minute kick from a nearby tree. Avoid this course in wet conditions, has a lot of the natural lines are very steep and loose, coupled with wet leaves, and fresh fallen acorns, it can be quite treacherous. Overall, a really fun run through the woods with some creative lines and basket placements. Looking forward to infrastructure improvements with concrete pads and some slopes stability efforts.
@hyzerhank76
Love it perfect
@rjreed3
There are baskets present. Crazy elevation changes, good exercise
@grimmster
The course matches the description very well. I think some better hole maps or signage showing the next tee shot would benefit. Great course to practice mid-range shots in the woods. Overall would recommend for beginners.
@cthediesel22
Putt & approach & technical enough to be real fun. I had a great time. The redesign is a massive improvement than what it use to be so kudos & keep up good work so far.
@jonnoh
Really fun course, short but could easily get out of hand if you're missing your shots. Don't understand the low ratings but it's my first time here and sounds like they've made improvements. No tee pads so 4 stars. Watch for poison ivy
@akabello
Trees need to be cleaned up beginner friendly work on fundamentals of the game here and you will excel on other courses
@crp564
The course is better than what it’s currently rated. Are the fairways tight? Yes. Are most of the holes played up, down, and on the side of hills? Yes. Is that what makes it fun? Also yes. Areas that could be improved, tee signs could definitely be better and hole 12 could use some steps
@nuclearnick13
Not great, but not as bad as people say it is. With a little TLC should be a great course for beginners and people who want to practice shorter technical shots.
@zman2000
New to this 18 hole layout. Very promising for the future with more work. Definitely needs tee pads and better signs. Would’ve been lost had I not had the app. Very technical course, will pay a price if you miss your line most of the time. Very steep hills on a few holes, but a major upgrade from the old course and very promising.
@jcuttitta
Decent beginner course. Lots of short holes. Not every hole has a true line.
@treebanger
This is officially an 18-hole course now and although better than it was before, still has a long way to go. Still hard to find your way around the course even though there are some primitive signs up now. Back nine holes is pretty brutal up and down hills. Some places having to crawl across logs. Beautiful and fun little state park at Mount Gilead. Hopefully the disc golf course will get better in time now!
@zdcc1990
Slightly biased because I’m local but all in all a really fun course. Lots of variety for holes with a few really tight lines. They could really use some tee pads. There’s one area where there’s a lot of dead leaning trees that’s kinda sketchy. The posts for the tee pads are sometimes in your way of throwing. Those are my only complaints. Really nice baskets and it makes for a beautiful walk through the park and woods. If they shortened the marker posts and added tee pads I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5.
