About the course

27 different holes throughout a historical, scenic park. Infinite options with Blue, White, and Red tees on most holes. There are Permanent A and B pin locations on a majority of the holes giving you endless ways to enjoy this beautiful course!

History

Sean Callahan approached the Lockport Park District in Spring of 2013 with the idea of adding a course to the already beautiful Dellwood Park. The Park District was immediately interested and the design began. The Park Board approved the course in December of 2013. We got to work on the course in Spring of 2014 and went through a few different design ideas. The OG 18 as it has come to be known debuted on September 20th 2014. By Spring of 2017 there were 9 additional holes added to the course. We didn't want to renumber the original course so we added the 6 Loop (6A - 6E) and the 8 Loop (8A - 8D). Over this time we also added 16 Blue tees to offer a more difficult track. In the Fall of 2021 we added 13 Red tees to offer a beginner friendly layout with all holes being under 300ft. Over the years there have been 14 additional and permanent basket locations added. The Canyons offers unlimited amount of ways to enjoy this beautiful park!
