@firexombie
What an amazing course! Definitely a must play.
@tylerarmstrong
Great course. Lavone did the city of Florence a service by designing this course.
@wadeless
Professionally designed for professional level players. You won’t shoot close to par unless you are good. But that’s the beauty. Don’t come if you don’t want to be tested.
@samuel64
Short grass and leaves make for a perfect playing surface in the winter, and the hike doesn’t feel nearly as rough with a chill in the air. Absolute gem.
@natemory
Amazing place!
@tfuhrmann
Long, exhausting and awesome. A ton of fun if you have a decent arm.
@all4damon
5stars bc what it is and can be… great design for a recomishioned ball golf course. LOTS of elevation change and uphill shots which are deceiving in distance. Def worth playing again or more if I’m back in the area! Need 2.5hrs min to play all 18, unless you’re a fit-goat and climb up those fairways and transitions without pause to rest 😎 #5 to 6tee is a little wonkey, pay atention to map not the basket arrows
@cujo93830
It's just a driving range with a lot of hills. Just a bunch of straight shots that are made difficult by distance for distance sake. Pretty boring. Left at -1 after front 9 from whites. Probably lamest course of the 7 ive played on my trip down from StLouis.
@jfortney
Really fun course if you can throw 450. Fun elevation changes, long and technical. Hit the landing zones and execute your approach shots to score well. Some parts are getting overgrown around key trees - would love to see some trimming done. Not a huge fan of baskets placed 20ft from OB and there's a few holes like that here. Still worth a drive from anywhere to play this course!
@brianlmoon
I mean, I was flabbergasted standing on the first tee. The pictures and videos I had seen did not do it justice. The tees are great. The tee signs are very well done. The course is very fair given the distance. On the white layout, I don’t feel there are any holes I can not par. There are many I can not birdie. I am 827 rated and 50 years old. I am ok with that kind of challenge. Rather than must get birdies, it’s a lot of must get pars. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars is you can get a little confused where the next tee is and sometimes you have to cross near other baskets and tees to get to your next hole. That is a very, very minor issue.
@gmelish
Fun course, but the course is made for people that throw far (>350ft consistently). Not a huge technical aspect to it.
@maxathon13
Blues are sweet, lots of beautiful tees and fairways. Lavone did a fantastic job with this design, a must play course!
@lawncaredad
This course is amazing! Do not underestimate the hike, and be ready for some long shots. Totally worth the drive, and must on your bucket list!
@biggdaddyman
Awesome championship style course! Only negative thing I can say is the AG tires on the tractor is tearing up places.
@dbish23
Greatest course in 100 miles
@saskwatch13
This course is a true gem. One of the most challenging and scenic courses in Alabama and the entire southeast. Can’t wait to see the pros and top level players try their luck on this masterpiece.
@masonnunley11
Gnarliest course I’ve ever played. So much fun. Hope to see pros here soon
@wesbevis
Amazing piece of property. One of the best courses I’ve ever played. Tons of elevation changes. Balanced tee shots and amazing views. Special place.
