When open, this is the best course in Georgia and it isn’t close. There is lots of variety in shot shaping using the elevation and the tree lines. Holes are fair but still force you to be on your game, especially off the tee. The Black layout is a pro tour level track. The Crucible should be on every Georgia disc golf player’s bucket list.

Second year playing FEO and I couldn’t be more frustrated with this course. Even living two hours away, and even if it were pay-to-play, I’d still make it my mission to throw a solid round here. The club here does an amazing job putting together this property and it deserves a full time crew and for people to see it. Looking forward to getting another crack at it next year. If it found its way to being a place that could have concrete tee pads and current basket tech, it’d be 5-star, best course in the state.

FEO’24 was my first tourney, but the others on my card had each played >100 other tourneys. They all remarked how well FEO’24 was organized & run. Kudos to all who made it possible. The course: amazing & challenging. I can’t wait to play it again next year.

This course lives up to its hype. You need top tier play to score well. Long, technical and fun. It is sad the course is only available 3 days a year. The Crucible would rank in the top 3 of Georgia courses if it became permanent.
