I really struggle with how to rate this course but would tell you my opinion improves every time I visit it. They have done a LOT of work and it's looking like a solid course. In fact, I'd say this is one of the best maintained courses in town. They have added nice new tee signs with pin markers, turf tees and amenities like benches. There are some incredible holes here that I love to play. The 4th is becoming one of my favorite holes in town with a giant sweeping downhill shot into the woods that needs both distance and accuracy. Then there's the other side. I loathe the 8th Hole. It's got no real lane to anything and eats discs with deep rough on a hillside. In general, the course still needs to grow in some - it's new after all - but no mistake there are still tight woods here. It is a physically challenging and demanding course. You are going to walk up HUGE hills on steep grades. You will throw up those steep grades. You won't see many holes in disc golf like #2. That factors into the "fun" here. Is it a great course? Yes, but it's on a mountain. Some of this could have been avoided IMO. Let's go back to #8. There is a lot of walking around this property to wind up to the top of that hill, the worst of the hill walks on the course. You could have played 6, 7 and 8 backwards and saved a lot of walking and elevation. I like the course. It needs time to grow.
@hnciii
Very steep hills on several holes two tee pads per hole with 4 pin positions with rotating of two baskets. Nice hard walking course.

Beautiful course playing on 2 sides of a steep valley. I’ve played a lot of disc golf courses and this one was very unique! Some of the steepest elevation changes Ive ever seen on a course. 2 tees AND 2 baskets on each hole so there are really 36 unique holes you could play here during a round. You can tell they are putting a lot of work into this course because it’s looking great! This deserves to be much higher than its current rating. Anyone giving a low rating needs to work on their cardio
@gansonsalmon
The epitome of Pittsburgh disc golf. Probably the most intense elevation changes I’ve played on. Fantastic 9 hole course, extraordinary and challenging from white to white. Bring your water and your A game, and get ready for some serious hiking. You’ll be out of breath on some putts lol. Take your time. It’s so steep in parts that the climbs even feel risky sometimes. I loved it. 10/10 course and an experience to remember.
@jr0002
It's officially open and even better so I have improved my rating. Great 9 hole course! It's nice to have a North Hills option without going up to Knob Hill or Linbrook. It's a bit rough right now, but much better from a year ago. When I want to get my butt kicked I play white tees to white baskets. Red to red will make the course much more enjoyable if you're beginning. Regardless, the elevation changes are substantial, especially on 2 (up) 4 (down) and 8 (down). Watch out for stinging nettles in the warmer months, even in some of the fairways. EDIT: this is less of an issue now, but still good to be aware of. It's been cleaned up a lot.
@bigperm13
It was a hike but that’s what the land has to offer. Aced 3 from the Reds in one of my best shots I’ve thrown.
@mtroyer
Absolutely love this course, uphill, hikes, elevation change, is amazing.👍🏻🥏
@ejvogie
Best 9 holer in the area. There, I said it. It's only gotten better in the year and a half since I first played it
@ferrgusok
Fun course. Very difficult hike between a few holes. A great workout though!
@cptfury
There is a lot of elevation on this course. Having said you have a lot of varieties between different shots and different set ups. If you want to challenge yourself, you’ll definitely find longs are very tricky. I highly recommend it to people that are beginners because they still have a beginner set up as well
@heywhathappened
To say a course is bad because it has steep hills or trees is a joke. If you play disc golf you should expect to be challenged and expect a brand new heavily wooded course to be raw. The undertaking it took to create this course was pretty amazing. If you aren't in shape this course will be grueling. If you can't shape a shot, maybe not the course for you. If those things don't bother you then Denny Park is a great 9 hole course with 2 baskets and pads on each hole with tight lines that make you think. Angle control and putting is tricky on the sloped greens. Can't wait to see how this course matures in the coming years!!!
@dubbleg
Very hilly, poor footing. Mostly wooded with lots of rollaway chances.
@towniejim
Pretty great with new tee pads. Fairways have been cleaned up a lot. One of the best nine holes around.
@drew1033
Enjoy this course more every time I play it. Very hilly, but there are some fun shots.
