The Gully

This course is a hidden gem to say the least. The shot variety is fantastic. There are bombers, short technicals, double Mando's, tunnels, low ceilings, high baskets, low baskets, marksman baskets, and more. Bring your A-game, as the shot shaping can be demanding. Josh has done an incredible job in every aspect from course design, signage, upkeep, etc. This might just be a perfect course. If you're in the area and torn between this course and the world famous Hornets Nest, I would genuinely recommend The Gully. You'll likely have it all to yourself and Josh is a very easy going guy. Leave him a donation at tee 1 if you can. He deserves every penny. Thank you for your passion, creativity, and generosity, Josh. I look forward to playing your course again the next time I'm in NC.

Awesome technical course. UDisc map helps a lot, but there is good signage as well. Owner is super friendly and takes good care of the place. Would recommend.

Awesome course. Great variety of shot shapes and hole lengths. Extremely well marked considering the complexity. Really creative use of shared baskets and fairways. Could get a little squirrelly with a lot of people on the course but when it’s empty it plays great.

Great private course. Owner is really nice. We’ll designer course. Many holes criss cross so be sure to watch for other players. Unique basket styles, hanging, skinny etc. good mix of open vs wooded holes.

the owner is a good dude, great course upkeep, and some sweet lines! look for the marksman bucket on a high rise! you will not see that often

Very creative use of space. Great shot shapes and some very interesting novelty basket location. 22 hole was a major workout but worth every bit of it. Owner Josh is very hospitable and we appreciate him allowing us to play. Will definitely be back.

Home owner has done an excellent job making this a unique and fun course. Pads are currently turf or packed clay in areas with short run ups. Will definitely play here again and I’m excited to see the course upgrades!

Awesome backyard course, challenging holes, and private! Would recommend for anybody in the area supporting the sport.
