About the course

The Hoot is located at 7425 State Highway 211, Canby Oregon. The Hoot is a fun and challenging 18-hole course with 9 original turf tee pads, multiple pin placements, and creative lines. Recently expanded to 18 baskets, you throw to the white baskets, 1 to 9, and you throw to the yellow baskets, 10 through 18. TEE TIMES ARE REQUIRED We are open from 8:00 AM until dusk every day. Visit www.thehootdg.com or our Facebook group @thehootdg for open tee times, closures, league play, and other events. The course is also part of Lavender Owl Farm, a private wedding and event venue. The property is covered in oaks, maples, and many other mature tree specimens, making for challenging play and a park experience. We offer camping, and day-use for tournaments, leagues, and group picnics on request. The Hoot is about an equal distance from Milo McIver and Champoeg. Overnight stays are available, perfect for pro tournament play at Beaver State Fling and Portland Open. Open for invited friends & user group play.
