Great little course if you’re camping nearby or certainly live near. Pretty views and lake right there so make a day of it.
@shanevproctor
lol it’s a par 3 nine. Some holes are made harder than they should be, like why place two narrow alleys on nine? Or why place the tee caddy corner to a tear drop? That’s not even a shape that a disc can make unless you’re going over the trees every time. But that’s that. It’s a great easy course and plays to par if you follow the visible lines.
@ktknack
Beautiful 9 hole tucked up against the lake. Great signage and chipped stone paths through fairways and to each hole. Good concrete tees. Design is a bit helter skelter. Part of it was working with the space they had, but it is unclear if this course is designed for beginners or more advanced players as different holes play to one or the other. Early holes are putter/mid deuce runs. 8 and 9 are much longer, with 9 needing a 6' gap hit about 20' off the tee - difficult. Fairways getting that "fuzzy" feeling as trees and shrubs grow into the space, making it unclear if the lines are difficult by design or the maintenance schedule. Baskets look sketchy but catch well enough. Chains look to have been replaced with heavier gauge than original. They all lean a bit drunkenly. I doubt there is a basket better than 80° plumb and most of them are closer to 70°. Good course to visit while camping at nearby Clear Lake. Darn near the only game in town too within a short drive. Would not consider it to be a destination course, but a nice side activity if visiting the area.
@aaenys
if you're looking for a beautiful lake to swim in (crystal clear) this course sits on clear lake. spring fed, really deep so super cold, but CLEAN. great course, bathrooms and a pavilion/ grills nearby. one of my favorite spots in MI.
@bsatterly
Nice course. Technical and challenging. Beautiful views! Bathrooms too.
@thatmichiganguy
Fun nine hole course. If you find a yellow putter, you are welcome. 😂
@brianphillips
Weird course, looks like they just took a gravel walkway/ path and threw in 9 holes along it, some odd lines at that..
@nolanalon15
As a first year disc golfer, most enjoyable I’ve ever played! Beautiful scenery, lots of benches, fun technical shots.
@jonrnature
Beautiful scenery. Underrated course because it's nine holes. Beautiful Park Crystal Clear Water Fun challenging holes they start off Technical and get longer. Great Chorus for a picnic or swimming and a half round.
@preacherdave
Underrated course running along the lake. I like how the course slowly gets more technical and longer. Only problem is once you get to hole 8 and 9, you want to keep playing. The walking path is slightly a problem as people from the beach looking to get shade will walk the path that follows the course. Well kept and clean course in a park setting with beach, playground and restrooms, this is a great summer day spot.
@nscalzi
Narrow fairways and low ceilings make for a nice technical course, going ahead to look where the basket is will help you get better lines around the bends
@jayzon333
Lost a pink gold line fury in the swamp on 3 name and number on it plz return if found my favorite disc looked for over and hr with no luck
@br4ndon
Nice course by the water bathrooms and vending available. Very technical course in the woods.
@trdecker
Nice little course. Easy to navigate with good markers and maintained pathway. Great scenery. A few tight lines, but still welcoming for beginners.
@thirstysturgeon
For a 9 hole course, it's amazing. Offers plenty of fun ace runs and some very technical wooded shots. The more I play it, the more I appreciate it.
@alangonzalez
Hole 9 was labeled as par 3 on here. Should be fixed now. Check older score cards for inaccuracies
