Update review: My course complaints have been addressed and the course is in excellent shape with plans for further improvements. The play here is well worth the hour drive to me. Concerning an earlier reviewer's course rating of 1 for the sole complaint of the tee pads being "too f-ing short": 1) the short teepads are by design to add to the challenge as explained in the course description. 2) an overall course rating of 1 is far too punishing for a design feature 3) I suggest that this review is way out of line, misleading, and should be corrected or removed. My previous review: Tee signs are in and every fairway has a name. There is so much to like about this new course. The scenery, beautiful but challenging fairways, level concrete tee pads, and top notch baskets to name a few. Stroud is becoming a disc golf destination locale.

What an awesome little course! Extremely well laid out with a variety of shot shapes in a beautiful landscape. Signage and tee pads are excellent. As primarily a standstill player, the shorter tee pads weren't an issue for me and I can see why the designer added this feature to increase the difficulty for some. It is also sheltered by the woods so it's a good place to play on a windy day. Easily made one of the top five courses I've ever visited because it is so enjoyable. Wish it was closer to my home!

Fun!

You could tell it was designed by someone who knew what they were doing. Really used the rocks to make it a bit more challenging. I didn't feel like 8 feet tee pads was too short but on most of them no way to take a longer run up without stepping up to the t. I did wonder how much more a 10 foot pad would have cost per hole though.

This course is not as cart friendly as it could be. Giant rocks on the walk-outs make pulling or pushing a cart a challenge. Other than that, fun lines. Great baskets. Little tiny tee pads could be 50% larger. Fun stop along 44. I'd play it again.

@colek12
Great technical course with some longer holes and lots of shot variety. That combined with the longer eagle valley course, which is also terrific and within a few hundred yards, will definitely keep me coming back. Also great to see it continually getting improved and properly cared for.
@shsrhiannon
This course will be awesome. There are some small trees that need to be trimmed back for some cleaner lines but it was a great course.

@buckeyefan70
Cart friendly might be a generous term. Cart possible is better term.

@shawnfmmusic
This course is great. If you can throat 250 feet and hit your lines, you can park everything. But they are right technical lines. I would play it often if I was close Very low chance of losing a disc here.

Played this course in late winter just a few weeks after tee pads were installed, even in its infancy the course shows signs of being one of the most enjoyable, and challenging disc golf treks around. Perfect complement to Eagle Valley.

@wikel74
Tee pads are way too short !!! Twisted ankle waiting to happen. At least back fill level with ground. But other than that. Great course.

@calebjcrim
Beautiful course! Lots of fun! Must hit initial gaps off the tee to score well here.

@brandonhandy74
I had a really fun time with this course, tight lines and punishing rough, great compliment to the eagle valley. Worth the trip!

@pizzagod
Just play it

@rickydiscdoyle
Beautifully designed. Gonna be very difficult once trees bloom. Tee pads are a little short for my taste.

Beautiful course! Lots of fun! Must hit initial gaps off the tee to score well here.

@vhatley
This is an awesome course that is challenging yet scoreable. Good variety of shots required. WARNING: in the course description it says it's cart friendly, it is NOT! There were 4 carts in our group and we had to carry the carts between several holes. Front 9 is cart friendly, back 9 not so much.
