Currently working with the Recreation manager to improve the course. He seems interested in doing whatever he can to increase the amount of play the course gets.

The course is not maintained nor are the tee labeled. Me and my buddy played hole 1 and 2 and left because we couldnt find hole 3. There isnt a trail from hole to hole. Good luck if you go there.

Course has been changed. Maps are not current. It’s around a few old overgrown golf holes. ½ mile from parking. Hard to find. Hard to find tees (all unpaved). Hard to find/identify baskets. Bad cell reception, so the course map wouldn’t load. Very long distances (par 4 or 5’s). Lots of mosquitos. Muddy. Gave up at hole 3. Walked the rest of the course. All about the same. There are some deer though... Could be decent with some signage and more upkeep.

No tee pads and half the holes didn't have tee markers. Very overgrown would not bother coming on base for this course just go to Newport news park.
