About the course
• "The Quarry at Rotary Park" offers an exceptional vista. From the practice basket area, much of the entire course of 18 baskets and 36 tee pads can be seen spread out below. Very cool!
• Main feature: hills - uphill, downhill and across hill holes, some pretty extreme.
• Additional features: island hole formed by railroad ties, elevated baskets on front and back nine (#8, #16), two over-water holes, #13 & #15 (both are short, but bring a water disc or two just in case!). The front and back 9 both finish with long championship style holes where much fairly staked OB adds to the scoring challenge. Unique quarry-themed greens and tee areas add additional touches.
• This course is in a quarry that was abandoned for years, letting nature take over. Deer, beaver, bald eagles & hawks have been seen. With the wildlife comes plants and insects. So please be sure to practice prevention and caution since ticks are present. Also, wild parsnip and poison ivy/sumac are in some of the rough. Scattered poison ivy is seen on some mowed fairways. Work is being done to handle that.
• If you’re off the fairway, look and walk carefully because over many decades, water runoff has created narrow ravines that are hidden in the tall grass. These ravines can be seen on the mowed fairways, and some have been filled in.

Great course with great elevation change. Dual tees are fun. Water plays on a few holes. Hole 18 is a bomber
