Great use of what is mostly wide open desert. Excellent way to get in a quick round if you’re in town for work. Agree with the other reviews that say the front nine is wide open and long and the back line is shorter and uses elevation more.
@cgamble
Tee signs lack par listings. Other than that really fun course!
@creeve
Just too long! Not enough variety in the shots, all front 9 is slightly downhill and ridiculously long. Back 9 is more hilly and hole 13 is the reason you place this course but only for the view.
@jomorg29
This was a fun course to jump off the highway and play. The day I played the wind was mild and made the course played easy. If the wind is up I can see the difficulty climb fast. I will be back when passing through.
@akcondor
Nice to play a wide open course once in awhile, results in a lot less bogeys when you always have a clear approach shot.
@stealthcorp
Reasonable course and good use of the park. Good for an in Reno course to play last minute before I fly home.
@polanin
A solid course with beautiful landscape and views. Tee pads are nice as is the signage. The baskets are a bit old and the wayfinding is a bit off, but use UDisc and you’ll be fine.
@bryanshawcpa
This is not a good course. Layout is difficult to follow, signs aren't accurate, no fairway, lots of bushes, lots of plants that leave jabbing things in your socks, etc. Might be convenient for the college, but surely there are better courses that warrant a longer drive.
@bandij
Wide open desert course with mandos and OB. Front nine is longer with less elevation, back nine is shorter with more elevation. Signage exists but could be better. There is a porta potty at the first hole
@mattybuzz
Very open and beautiful course with amazing views! Course is NOT cart friendly.. it’s accessible but not friendly whatsoever.
@tmcmattis
Pretty neat, a little open and long for noodle arm I prefer a 4ft gap 100 foot from tee over a wide open 450 that I can't reach with my absolute best but the course is cool and you should go if you've never played desert discing.
@sailmaster
Great course, beautiful scenes. Benches on every hole and map was mostly correct. Enjoyed it!
@snowtoad
Fun course. Weeds and grass is really over grown. Hopefully this gets knocked down soon.
@ptomeo
Course is a good intermediate layout, good mix of distance and technical aspects. Concrete pads are great. Paths are mostly defined.
@swimmons2
Great day on the Ranch
@killshot10
Awesome course , comes with a good exercise in the back nine all for free haha
@atayteetaylor
Fun quick 18 holes. There is elevation change thru the back 9.
@willybirdieout
The ranch is windy after noon 90% of the time and can be windy anytime. Sunrises are awesome here. It can be a great place to learn to control your disc in the wind. You are very exposed though and can see most of the holes on the course from the parking lot. It's very wide open so a great place to learn what shot works best for you. It's pretty easy to navigate. Hole 1 and 10 are just off of the back right corner of the parking lot where you will find the map
