*Edit: the landscaping done for the 2024 Howler tournament made me enjoy this course so much more. They mowed the fairways, roughs, and even the ditches. Definitely a great course when it’s well groomed! Original: My group and I enjoyed playing this course in preparation for the Howler. It’s a challenging open/wooded course with a variety of shot shapes. The lack of landscaping and poor signage, however, was a major nuisance. Most of the fairways are rough and the actual rough is ROUGH—regret not wearing high socks/pants. Most tee signs are faded or detached, seeming to be edited and moved around a lot. There’s arrows on the baskets pointing to the next hole, but not all of them are straightforward—we would’ve been lost on a few holes if not for UDisc. Lastly, be wary of the ditches that you throw over/near on holes 2, 3, 10, 15, 16, and 17. Most were filled with water and surrounded by thick rough. We would’ve lost half of our bags if we hadn’t brought our disc retriever. This course could be amazing after some cleanup, consistent landscaping and new/permanent tee signs. I’m hoping it gets some good TLC before the tournament.

If this course had tee pads, I’d say it’s one of the best courses in the state. It reminds me a lot of “Disc Side of Heaven” in Jonesboro… I haven’t been there but this is the closest course I’ve ever seen to one I’ve seen on coverage. This course is remarkable! It has lots of very precise lines and whoever designed it absolutely knew what they were doing. There’s really no easy holes. The open ones a tricky after playing so many tight lines. The upkeep was pristine when I played it too!
