Front 9 was descent. Back 9 was confusing as hell. Also kinda dangerous crossing over other players fairways.. more than once.
@bowentecheddisc
Hire someone to come in and redesign the course. What a beautiful property poorly used. Criss crossing walks to holes. Some of the longest walks I've ever seen between holes and very little direction. Remove the Red layout until you plan to attempt teepads. I get that new courses need dirt pads until they can grow, but at least attempt to define the box. They were nonexistent. I feel like everyone's ratings led me to the wrong course when I only had 1 chance to play a Pennsylvania course driving through. Do better.
@simplyaubs
Pretty & fun little wooded course with multiple layouts. No trespass and poor signage however. Still a good play if you use UDisc to find your way through.
@toneflem
Fun course when you can find the correct hole. Signage is there, but not great. And even if you are on the correct path, you may have to walk from one side of the course to the next, crossing multiple holes you've already played. The flow of the course is just off, but it's still fun.
@derekthedisc
I don't know how this course is so highly rated. No frolfer worth their salt would rate this more than a three, and that's being generous. I encourage others to travel around and play other courses to gain an understanding of just how overrated this course is. Erie county deserves better.
@johnriverbend
Nice layout. Wide fairways for long holes. Mowed well and wildlife for viewing. Tee pads would be helpful Multiple tees are great! Grow the game
@lucasharmon
Good holes. However the layout is awkward, lots of long walks inbetween holes and 18 isn’t near parking lot.
@natevitz
Great course! I did get a little lost crossing between various fairwaysbut it was my first time playing here. Had a good time!
@cptfury
This is a very fun course. You can tell somebody put a lot of love into it. Some of the signs are a little bit hard to find and figure out. My UDisc halfway through kind of gave me the wrong areas. That’s not on the course of the course design, it’s just I wish there was a little bit more signage. There are some signs that do you help you out as well as markers however, with the amount of hiking in between some holes, it’s hard to figure out. Saying that like I said so much for a lot of love in this course and with a little bit more it’ll be perfect.
@nehpetsm1986
Great course. Beautiful placement. Great shot shape. With cement tees this course is definitely a 5 star course. Great job to everyone that maintains this course.
@elderarcane
I am giving this course this half star review for the condition of the course. The signage is almost nonexistent. Tees and path to next tees from baskets are not well defined. You have to unsafely cross fairways to get to other holes. Flow of course in dysfunctional constantly waking back and forth long distances to get to next tees. Even with udisc still hard to find your way around or if your some that’s doesn’t have udisc or doesn’t carry their phone with them on the course you will have a hard time finding the holes if you are not familiar with the course. Also watch out for frequent walkers on fairways because well established walking paths were used for fairways and no signage to warn the walkers there are flying discs. This also apparently doesn’t rest completely on the course designer as the park did most of the work on their own. Baskets are not mounted in the right direction and most are missing number plates. The ones that have number plates are not even fastened to the basket they are just sitting in the top of the basket poll, so don’t rely on number plates to know your throwing to the right baskets. There is one tee that is just short of circle 1 for an adjacent hole making putting hard and should be consider a safety hazard. I would be willing to modify this review once these problems have been taken care of but I do not plan on playing the course again until there is no stumps on tee pads and better signage to next tees.
@gutz111
Pretty fun course. I can’t wait to see it gets built up a little bit.
@sduffy35
Amazing course. Very technical, yet long. This course is easily worthy of 5 stars once the teepads are in and a few more trees are taken out.
@bigolmonkey
This is a great course, only get to play it once or twice a year, big improvements from last year, and it was already pretty good. Beautiful wooded setting with a great variety of shots. Great layout and upkeep.
@spangb
B9 flow is long seems to be missing holes between holes. The walk between holes is significant. Nice greens, natural tees need upgraded. Decent course best in area.
@pnwdylan
Fun course.... From tee to green this is an amazing course. Fun, challenging, shot shapes.... Tee pads of some form would be take this course to the next level for sure!!!!
