Fun little short course.

Wear sturdy shoes for the rocky hills. Length-wise, it's a good beginner course, but first-timers may be discouraged by the difficulty of finding discs among the abundant sagebrush, other bushes, and boulders. I've lost several. Tee boxes need some work, but they're OK. Signage is good. The above-mentioned bushes really need to be trimmed as I write this, especially on holes 3, 4, 6, and 7. Plan for wind; there may be breezes here even if there are none at your home. Parking can be difficult if the soccer fields are in use or road construction is going on. One option is to park on the paved lot between the fields off Wedge Pkwy and start on hole 4. Or, you can enter near the South Valleys library, keeping it to your left. Head straight back, then turn right and park near the 5th tee. Watch for dog walkers through the course.
