About the course
Play through the gorgeous red rock formations around Thunderbird Gardens! The front 9 has substantially less hiking but still feature big elevation shots. The back nine features more extreme hiking but the holes are the payoff. Hole 18 is a must! Don’t have time to play the whole course? Play 1 - 10 and finish on 18 for a satisfying round! Ignore the directions from Apple Maps. Use your map and follow the dirt road to the parking lot.

The views are some of the best you’ll ever see on a disc golf course, and the baskets are well placed using the red rocks as pseudo guardian trees. Signage is average at best and missing at times, udisc can be 20-30’ off on the teepad location which can make the tees annoyingly difficult to find even when you’re close to them, but the baskets are all easy enough to find. The teepads are not big enough for full run ups and uneven in places, watch your footing. For a desert course it is fairly easy to find your disc in the fairway, but that may also be because you’re throwing a putter/mid 14 times off the tee. I think it may be overrating it to call it the best in southern Utah but it’s a great course to practice your putter/mid game off the tee while also throwing in 1 1/2 par 4s and 59 practice throwing/putting through strong crosswinds.

Beautiful course. Really well marked. Fun changes in elevation. Only flaw is most of the holes are really pretty easy. Some of the holes at the end are tougher but it would’ve been more fun to have them scattered throughout.

I love this course. At least play 1-10 plus 18. 11-17 are tougher and steep canyons off the sides. Definitely stop and play

Amazing course. Lots of other users in the area. Could use some shot variety. 18 is an awesome hole but everyone on 1-10 should be cautious as they could get a disc to the head. There are several others that have this issue too.
