@joshschloe
Fairly solid course. Still a little unpolished but exciting to see how they continue to make it better.
@c2j284
Loved it and for amenities I mean, they have a pool to swim in after! Very fun!
@nielsjah
Definitely would recommend, very fun course with a woody front nine and an open back nine. Great variety
@tsteward18
Love the new design and top of the list of course around Des Moines! Had a blast playing it, very fun! Worth the drive all day
@bhall7
Fun course. Good variety in shots. A lot of the holes are bordered by barbed wire or other ob structures. Very hilly so be prepared for a hike.
@booyah
OB Barb wire close to basket is not appreciated but otherwise nice course (sans a couple short par 3s with technical (really luck) shots
@brittoswald
Good shot variety and overall a great course. The front 9 is a little short but with elevation changes and tree hazards, it still provides a fun, challenging course
@blauer17
Solid course, lots of elevation, not too difficult, can be a little difficult to find where the next hole is at without UDisc
@jacieommen
Love the new design! Very accessible but still has some technical shots!
@ging3rvituz
Looking great for the grand opening. Windy day sent some discs into uncharted territory with thorns but will clear up with more foot traffic.
@fausch
A little lackluster. There’s a few solid holes scattered throughout the course. Not a ton of shot variety. Holes 1 and 2 are a great start, but then you have 6 consecutive holes that are standstill putter shots. The back 9 opens up on the distance, but is essentially an open field. Without any real trees on the back 9, it sorely lacks any shot variety. The only trees on the course are used up on 130-150 foot shots.
@trreese
A great mix of hills and woods
@morganjudge
I never played the old course but this layout is a great course! Good uses of elevation and trees as well as a variety of distances and shot shapes.
@ithomson52
Really like the redesign, has some unique shot shapes and greens. Only complaint is rough has some thorny spots and a few baskets are pretty close to some barbed wire fence.
@asagipple1
Felt like I played 50 holes with all these hills
@zachstec
Every hole is scoreable and unique for an intermediate golfer. One of the bridges needs replaced asap (safety hazard). Definitely miss the old layout but they did a phenomenal job with the new. Teepads are not standardized sizes but deal with it. LOL Will absolutely get better over time and thrilled that Colfax seems to have a renewed passion for frolf.
