About the course

The course is built on Tijeras Arroyo Golf Course, located on Kirtland Air Force Base. Please check in at the pro shop before starting your round. Trees, water features, cart paths, rolling hills, and bunkers are used to add variety to the course. By design, you won't be throwing over golf greens or down golf fairways, but you will throw and walk across fairways, so please be mindful and respectful of golfers. Long tees are marked with blue flags, and short tees are marked with red flags. There are currently no signs on the course, so please use UDisc for wayfinding. We're in the desert, so watch out for snakes and cacti. Enjoy the variety of birds near the water holes.

This course used to be free across base. Only downsides were similar holes and Goatheads. Now it’s a paid for course ($2/not terrible) that’s imbedded alongside a golf course. Not on greens but in between them. You also have to dodge golfers and be aware at all times. Not really a kid friendly course. Plus it’s wide open and the wind is terrible out there. Not sure if it’s worth playing here when golfers will always take priority and you have to risk getting hit. I know they tried to weave it through the entire golf course, but the holes can be a decent walk away from each other.

Pretty good course with some nice terrain in the back side. Some holes felt a bit short but the pond baskets made it a little higher stakes.
