Pretty impeccably designed, takes advantage of the huge amount of land the course is on. No tees no problem, udisc layout is correct and flows with great pace. A true bomber course, while it is demanding, the idea that you need to be able to throw 400+ to score is simply false. It’s a very refreshing style of play to have available in Eastern PA. Thank you to whoever works and maintains this course. Can’t wait to return.
@bruderm17
New disc golf park baskets are in! New signs coming soon. They installed some stakes and spray paint to mark where the new tees will be installed. Loving the new layout! Can’t wait to see how it turns out this spring
@jimvandervliet
Love it but when I played the UDisc was wacky. Baskets didn’t always match up but may be in the midst of some changes.
@kyanite
Like this course but it was already long with mainly par 3 at over 400-500 feet. now they made it minimum 20-40 feet longer per hole and still most are par 3s! Opens with a 497’ par 3?

Halfpipe-shaped gravel teepads are barely usable. Not worth the risk of rolling an ankle each drive. A/B/C identifiers on posts are missing. The course itself is well-maintained but the layout is frustrating in that, for the average/intermediate player, birdie opportunities are rare while, on many holes, par is almost too easy. To be able to stand on a teepad and know what your score will be before you throw your drive... makes for an uninspiring day. Tinicum used to host national touring events but those days are long gone.

Between the storms in summer 2024 and the erosion of the gravel pads this course needed a change. It’s nice to see that new baskets and tees are going in. As for the course it is one of the few true bombers in this area and is a great introduction in learning to cope with distance and wind. Shots are basic but this place is fun and historic too. Thanks whoever takes care of it.
@burnsteel
Awesome course. Balance of short and long shots. All hail the Tinicum tiki!
@udiscbanor
Dåliga tees. Gamla korgar och många hål som är helt öppna. Några roliga linjer finns och även lite tajtare skogshål. (2.8/5.0)
@kreese123
Challenging course. Played when everything was at long position. Need 400'+ distance to reach some birdies. Good mix of open and wooded shots. Desperately needs tee pads as the gravel is very uneven and not clear where the "box" ends. You can see that some people opt to throw from beside the gravel where the grass is worn away and safer. Signage was just fine but Udisc was very helpful.
@eaglemcbob
Great course for big arms!! Some par 3’s could definitely be considered par 4’s😉👍. Could really use decent tee pads.
@mcandrew
Mostly open course. Benefits the longer thrower while working well for a new player because of its open features. Tee's are the worst I've played. Baskets could also use an update.
@brynswartz1
This course has some good long holes but not a lot of variety. The teepads are gravel so I literally avoid them and throw from the side so I don’t slip. Also the baskets are the small kind. One other thing. There is a massive hornets nest on hole 4, which I learned today when most of them stung me on the head. Please skip this hole.
@dkoenig06
Everything is great except for the teepads. They are atrocious and someone is going to severely hurt themselves.
@baxdiscer62
Flat with fairly long holes which are a mix of open and lightly wooded. I was not making any long putts today.
@accollier1347
Great course, fabulous combination of field bombs and tight wood lines. Between the Delaware river and canal. The tees aren’t that bad, be a mature golfer and throw from the side of the tee.
@seanvincent
It's a beautiful course, many tee boxes are completely unusable
@hyoomac
Originally opened in 1992, with stone dust teepads added in 2015, Tinicum remains a good, long and varied course…but it’s showing its age. Many teepads have become deeply rutted with narrow channels that make runups difficult or impossible. Some of the wooden “dials” indicating the pin in use have become faded, or are missing. Good mix of open and wooded holes, with length favoring bigger arms. Detailed review at Discgolfcoursereview.com
