Beauty of a course. Couple open, mostly wooded and covered. Couple mosquitos and I took care of the spiderwebs for most. Tee areas are great! They used the green space well when planning. Only down side is the worn wooden plaques, UDisc is accurate tho.
@lcwin1
Pretty pretty pretty good
@corkytaquino
Nice little course that was less than 2 miles from my hotel. Waze led me to an off road lot to park in, but I ended parking in the TJP Apache Recreation Center parking lot. Wood tee signs are beaten up badly; I could make out the distance on them but that's about it. Signage in-between holes was great. Nice variety of shots throughout the course, with some elevation changes. Holes 2, 4 & 5 play close to homes, beware of dogs in corner backyard on hole 4 left to right shot. First time to play here and finished in an hour. Would play again.
@jdshell
Awesome course with great layout. Challenging shots shaping through the woods with a few more open holes. Only complaint is the tee signs. Great idea with the engraved wood, however the elements have taken their toll and most aren't readable. Great signage in between holes keels you from getting lost. Tee pads and benches are great. Overall a must play if in the area!
@abonachea
Storms have a lot of trees down, some holes unplayable at the moment.
@cam15153d
Hole 17 and 18 are a par4 on the course but a 3 on u disc
@tofdiscgolf
Good wooded course with a lot of different shot shapes, I really liked it.
@dgnewberyan
Water coolers or water fountains would be a nice touch. Not a lot, just 1 on the front nine and 1 on the back nine.
@ndgrounds
This is a good short-distance wooded / mildly technical course. It has a great location in the heart of Tyler and is not a park course with a lot of pedestrians around. Great tee pads. There are 2-3 dinky shots (extremely short and super hyzered) that are mostly filler. Not always well maintained with tall grass and fallen limbs in wooded areas.
@jatindall82
Lots of limbs down. NEED TO MATCH THE PARS WITH UDISC! Signs say par 4โs when UDISC says 3โs
@nextrelease
Fun course! Layout is a bit confusing if you donโt know where to go. So signs are definitely needed. Other than that, great course!
@nimblewan
Just spent the day cleaning it up and participated in it's development, so I'm biased.
