Boring layout if your average T shot is 280 you’ll be practicing your up shots all day long tea pads are in horrible condition but if it’s dry, at least they’re not slick. Grass is always high. That should not really be a hazard and it’s not really fun looking for your disc in the tall grass all day long.
@cawatkin
I played the course the day after it rained and I got my shoes soaked on the last 8 holes. The grass needed to be mowed so it was easy to lose discs when I was more focused on trying to mitigate soaking my socks. The course would have been more fun. Good variety of lengths of holes. Most were pretty open, with some trees here and there
@vanwaardep
Fun course with big long drives. The tee pads could use some love. Fun course overall.
@bill
It saddens me that such an historic course has been so completely neglected. The park staff and board should be ashamed of themselves.
@parker18
Tee pads need some serious help! Very slippery when damp or wet
@onlyrudedog
Time for new tee pads
@gusdid
Ok course , tee pads are horrible . Lots of open land not many obstacles . Lots of walking , can be challenging depending on how far you throw .
@bransten
Cool course needs benches at tee… tees need to be refinished
@justinbizarro
Fun course but they really need to fix / remove turf on the tee pads!!
@timrbass
Grass is mowed well, some trees downed from the hurricane make the lines on a few holes more open. Overall solid open course with sparse trees. Even though many of the carpet tee pads are ripped up, the wood underneath still provides sufficient grip, I had no problem with them unless they’re wet then they’re really bad.
@spiraledout
Great design, and great to have disc golf at Tom bass again! It was bone dry today but can obviously get damp quickly. Is there a dry feet layout?
@dhstallman
Awesome. Some nostalgia of the old layout even. Love it.
@ceedub86
My home course, but leaves a bit to be desired honestly. They did a great job with what the city gave them anyway.
