This was the last course of a 2 day Charlotte, Sarasota, & Manatee County 6 course road trip from my snowbird condo in Ft Myers (a DG desert). As an MA65, I wasn't thrilled with the 395, 390, & 340' par 3's from the shorts (bogied 3&5, felt like pars, parred 9, felt like a birdie), but all in all, course was a nice walk in a beautiful park. I've been playing this sport for 47 years at 1000+ courses in at least 9 different countries. I helped design the #76 ranked course (UDisc 2025) in the world. I write very few reviews. Something I saw here prompted this review. I hope I got your attention. Since this course opened 5 years ago, you can't tell me numerous drives on #1 haven't been yanked into the playground with a 3 foot fence! I have 6 precious little grandbabies people- all with PDGA #'s! You've been lucky! All you need is one 2 year old hit by an errant drive and you'll make national news. That playground was crowded with precious little ones the day I played. It's only a matter of time. Why take the chance when there are alternatives? #18 should be #1. Move #1's current tees (sorry dig them up & re-pour new ones) to become #2. Install mandos on every tree from tee to basket. Or better yet, shorten the hole! (Or install a net around the playground). Then 2 becomes 3... 17 becomes 18. Thanks for listening. You can call me a Nancy all you want, but I know I'm right.

Amazing course Longs are long Shorts are manageable Walk to 18 is odd but it's a fun hole to play. Amazing course

@ndeffet
I’m sorry guys, but this place sucks. I drove two hours to play this course because it has such glowing reviews, but 90% of it is an open field. Hole 17 might be the worst designed hole I’ve ever played and 18 is just a “throw your disc in the lake” mini game that’s not worth the 1/4 mile walk from 17. I’m glad you guys love it so much that you’re rating it over 4 stars, but you’re less than an hour from some of the best courses in the state. Giving three stars for great tee areas and baskets.

Very fun bomber course. A bit open and a couple unnecessary Mandos but definitely worth playing!

@kedreey
Total bomber course. Lots of flat ground with low cut grass for practicing your rollers.

@thuslarro
I've traveled a lot, and played many courses. Every state has a course like this. Flat, wide open soccer fields with a few trees basically. Some pretty long pars. Especially from shorts. Great way to motivate the newcomers lol
@mnmarquess
Pretty open but they did a pretty good adding in Mandos and using the water and trees to make several cool and u pique holes. Fyi.- Definitely several holes where loosing a disc is possible.

@acebabieee
There should be more par 4s for female divisions. Even the par 4s & 5s were very difficult to birdie. Either there were super short holes or holes that were way too long. Played the short layout.

@nfinicum
This is where I play to air out my plastic.

@klovess
Lots of repetitive open shots with a few that use the trees. The water does not drain well from the fairways so you are walking in 2 inches of water if it has rained in the past week.

@godsdefender777
Extremely well maintained course, a few holes were flooded when I went so my shoes got wet and I got bit by a lot of mosquitoes on my legs. The shop variety is very diverse ranging from the 200 ft range to the 769 ft range. Signage was great and tee pads were great, wayfinding was pretty good too. Be prepared to walk a lot.

@sorberrun
Windy with 10-25mph. gusts. OB mostly water hazards next to baskets or water defining fairways edge. Bomber course with a good sized practice field.

@shieldfriend
A little flooded 10-15, but a great time from the shorts with lots of nice bomber holes

@thewatsons
beautiful park .. bring your big arm. long shots .. layouts alittle wonky needs pads.

@nathanmn
Awesome course… bit of a hike, but lots of fun shots (more open than not).
