Technical sandy beach fairways front 7 holes. Plenty of trees especially on back 9. Course is easy to navigate and dog friendly. Carts are a little challenge on some holes but very manageable.

Gorgeous course! One course in dfw that can make you feel like you’re on the beach. Good mix of shots going from mostly open to tightly wooded.

Very fun course. My biggest problem is that the course needs better maintenance and new baskets. The back 9 is a little more difficult for a righty backhand dominant player. Most of the holes can be reached with a putter or midrange with only a few holes over 350 ft. Holes 1, 2, 3, and 7 are next to the lake. Holes 3, 5, 10, and 15 are technical and can be challenging to birdie. Watch out for people along the lake during the weekends. They do not care that they take up the fairways by the lake.

One of my favorites! Needs better baskets, but it’s scenic, there is shade, and a good shot variety.
