New signs are in, all cement pads are done except for hole 14 which tees off a road. The alternates are marked by a 16 x 16 patio block. As for fun and shot variety, this course will always be a 5 to me! If you are not a fan of risk/reward shots, this course is probably not for you.
@gabestandfast
Imo it needs a bit more upkeep on the wooded holes, but pretty fun.
@pwaldrop42
Awesome course. Love that the city and lions club supports the designer.

My only complaint and the course designer has addressed it was the signage/finding the way. I had the benefit of the course designer/maintainer come play my 1st round here so finding the way was easy😏 once new signs are in a full 5 stars. Some of the comments about stuff in the woods, the ditch, T.P., baskets near the drop into the stream tells me you probably haven’t played in a lot of locations, this is some standard stuff in Disc Golf. The very old car body (not in the way at all) added to the atmosphere. If an experienced player is complaining about the “toughness” of this course they need to get out to some more courses and see what a real tough round is like. Enough challenge to bring you back but not enough to say “never again “. I’ll definitely be driving the 2hr round trip to play it again.

This course has some good aspects and some good holes, but the overall experience was rather frustrating. There are some nice, challenging lines in the woods, and some of the open holes at the beginning are enjoyable. The creek provides interest for the course, but is problematic. There are several holes that have the edge of the creek in circle 1, and even 1 or 2 where it is in the bullseye. You can land a drive within 5 feet of a basket and not be able to retrieve it without climbing down the creek bank and making your way through drift logs, nettles, loose rocks, etc. The wooded holes also have a lot of scrap metal pieces half buried, and there is barbed wire in several places. Also, when we went there was used toilet paper spread around in a couple areas in the wooded holes. That was not so nice. Overall, if you want to play here, I would recommend wearing long pants and being prepared to make your way through nettles, mud, loose rocks, etc to recover discs. Also, with any rain, I would probably count it as unplayable for a couple weeks. I appreciate what the course is trying to do, but for me the negatives outweigh the positives.

Signs need updated everything else great
@kevinrneufeld
Pros: all kinds of different lines on this course; open, wooded, water hazards. For the most part, the entire course is protected from the wind. Cons; none. Overall; the layout is really challenging however I took Someone on their 2nd round ever and they did just fine. A must play if you are in the area.
@jren13
Fun layout in the woods in the middle of the course. If you even think that it might have been muddy a week before you play… it’s still muddy. If I got to play a dry course for my first visit I would probably score the course higher. The woods section was a marsh section for me which kinda sucked.
@mstarb
Great course! Very well maintained!
@jacoclants
Tough short course. Lots of shots need a lot of precision and accuracy. Rather muddy after rain.
@papadomthebeard
Wooded areas aren't taken care of too much. 7-13 are a doozy.
@caffinatedmeche
Lots of variety. Open holes, holes with creek on the side, wooded holes, some elevation. It’s a little difficult to navigate however. The gps layout was a huge help.
