Long, tunnel shots. Tight, turning fairways. Scoring well requires control with forehand and backhand, 400’ of power, and a healthy sprinkling of luck. Not what I expected, but fun because luck was on my side! Note: not built for beginner golfers
@csarge
If you’re gonna charge to play atleast cut the grass fun shots tho Especially 18
@fritz1694
Thought it would be better maintained, but not a horrible course( except the swamp on 18)
@morganjreynolds
I’m in town for work and I’d never played in Texas. This course was closest so I popped in for a quick 18 before my flight. It’s perfect for that. Very quiet and peaceful. However, SUPER muddy. Very difficult wayfinding on a stretch of holes on the back 9 (10-14ish). I was tromping through the woods with no one nearby. Solid 3.5.
@strebs
Pretty cool course with grass cut fairways and some really short technical holes. 18 will get you shaking in your boots if you've had a rough round
@clarson14
Shot variety is good. Grass was very long, 8"-10". Made it bvery hard to find discs. Over the pond shot on 18 was a nice surprise.
@spdyer
Fun course overall for intermediate to advanced. Well worth the park entry fee.
@dgaficionado
Out by the lake & sometimes under it: this relaxing (despite nearby motorbike noise) park land dedicated for disc golf hosts a popular and challenging course that winds through secluded, wooded pathways, roams over open meadows and finishes with a punishing water carry.
@csmith19
Solid shot shapes. Tough course
@beamen
Good variety of shots, short holes are made more difficult by heavy woods. Water only on 18. Rough is long in some spots, fun course.
@aggiedwc
Very nice signage and upkeep. Harder than I expected. Long pin positions are quite a bit harder even. This spring's lake flooding really did a number on this course. Lots of floating driftwood on holes 3, 4, 5 rough, but I can tell they're being worked on. Holes 6 and 7 look very good. Hole 11 is still not playable due to high water as of July 18, 2024.
@bwines
Front nine significantly easier than back nine. At least for me.
@justinbizarro
Fun & challenging, great upkeep. $2 fee is a bummer but worth it to challenge yourself on a fairly technical course
@jbrannon
One of my favorite courses in DFW! Pretty flat…but uses the terrain well.
@ngroves530
Great course! Tough on the longs but fun. I definitely feel 18 could be cleaned up a bit a lot of tiny branch’s can just drop your disc in the swampy puddle.
